He found some stuff which you admit was insulting. He erased it He erased the entire post. Not just the two lines that could be seen as insulting. Therefore I am confused about the idea of censorship, yes Belail is censoring insults, but those are standard rules on all forums including your own. Th...

It may seem pointless to you, but obviously not for us. All I really want is someone to say "Oops. This whole thing could have been handled better. We shall not do it again." As far as I'm concerned (on a personal level), the staff did the right thing but in the wrong way. I want someone t...

If you as a moderator call someone out on personal insults, you should be able to explain how it is an insult. In fact, the rules tell you to edit or delete posts containing personal insults. Now, as you have neither edited the post in question nor are willing to explain how it was an insult, I wou...

Why? Where do you draw the line? What is enough odd behaviour from the staff for us to comment on it? The ones accusing us of not being fair are the ones who have to draw the line. If you don't like something, tell us. I have drawn a line. But apparently Damnation (yeah, I preferred that name) didn...

If you want to comment on the quality of moderation and the site in general, please look around a bit more first. Why? Where do you draw the line? What is enough odd behaviour from the staff for us to comment on it? And your posting of your this thread in public instead of taking it up with the mod...

Shenanigans. Thanks... You were all three sent messages, and all three given a chance to explain your behaviour privately, and all three given a chance to edit your own posts for the better, and you all three failed to do so. Do you have any facts to back that statement up with? Andy's post was del...

Faerthurir, I tried to ignore your first reply after langmann made a specific post telling us to keep it civil and with perspective. But I feel sorry for you. You haven't been on a good number of serious communities, run by serious people if you think that the forums which have deteriorated into poo...

Hi there, Andersson. Long time no see. First I want to let you know why I write "moderators" in a general term. It is based on the fact that we still don't know who deleted* Andy's post as seen on the image linked to in my original post of this thread. We know it must have been a moderator...

langmann: thank you for devoting some time into looking this up and down, but unfortunately I feel you missed the point. As you may notice from the contents of the original post in this thread, we are not opposed to having the site moderated, nor are we really opposed to having parts of my blunt rep...

If by "enjoying the drama" you mean that I'm interested in seeing where all of this will lead, then sure. I'm your drama queen. *puts her high-heels on* I had moved on in the sense of dropped and forgotten. But memories can return, as can feelings. And I haven't truly returned. I'm merely ...

He can avoid combats (give or take, depending on what army and what composition), but he can't avoid taking casualties. And without causing any casualties to the enemy while taking some himself, it's pretty much impossible to win. And if you intend to reply with "objectivities makes casualties ...

How long, cool glass of step back do you want? I stepped back in February 2006. That's almost three years ago. I had dropped it and moved on, but when I see someone writing incorrect facts I, being the pedantic I am, feel an urge to correct those. I tried to do so in a civil manner until the last pa...

I didn't say that you should rely on it. Mainly because you can't rely on something like luck. But as the question is asked, I feel luck is more important and will get you further. And I doubt your second statement. If a guy rolls constant 1s for all his attacks and saves, and constant 6s for tests,...

I'd say luck. As I see it, it is more important to roll well than to have a solid plan. With luck, even a bad plan will work. Without luck, even the best of tactical geniouses will lose.

So maybe a look at what the criteria are for removing posts is in order. There is nothing wrong with a review and realignment as well as an update to the FAQ and notification to the community – a reset. The criteria should be clear and concise. I would also think that if a post is a removed the mod...

Given that #warhammerfun existed at the time, and still does, this seems somewhat spurious to claim. Rule number four says so, and given how many sites the chat would be connected to, as well as GW's legal powerplay regarding Kitrik's T-shirt selling project, it wasn't unreasonable to think that it...

The Situation of Druchii.net - Admin's Response 08/11/28

We go to this length of making a topic devoted to the situation because we feel that the mods ignore our attempts at opening a discussion about the matter. Several of our posts have been deleted today, on false grounds that they were mudslinging. It has gone to the extent that we no longer feel PMs ...

Yes, I've been a member of this site for six years. Which I reckon is pretty damn impressive (Granted, a few other 2002ers still post, some who joined before me). I still post, but mainly when someone sends me a link about something that might interest me. The Chat - The Madness Years Dot One eveni...

There's a decent gaming club here in Stockholm. The GW Stockholm is too small to have any tables, and the staff there redirects any players to the club called Dragon's Lair. They have 10-12 tables in the basement.

My verdict on the new book is very similar to the new High Elf book. The rules got better, but there are things I would have done differently. The layout is flawless, and well-made. Sadly, a lot of errors and ambiguity about rules and stats. I'd give it a 7/10 for rules & stats 10/10 for layout ...

The question whether something is tournament legal is not really one we can answer here. It varies from tournament to tournament. Each organiser has his or her own set of rules the players must abide to. Ask your tournament organiser to get the right answer.
