Wow you can certainly see the mix of high and dark elves in there. The armour design is very nice. They have done well here.
Im not too sure about the sea creatures flying though, but hey, why not?

Re: NEW AELFS ON THE WAY!!!!!
it's good to get a little bit more history to read.
I like it more than i dislike it. i know there is a lot more to it, so i'm waiting to read more about it.
i can't wait until Malerion (Malekith) makes a return

Re: NEW AELFS ON THE WAY!!!!!
I beleive the mini at the end will be caledor dragon tamer. Or a hybrid of him and Marathi, as it was them both that disrupted the vortex at the end times. The mini has nice scales and wings consistent with dragons, and it also makes a bit of sense with the Naga type witch elf with a pet dragon perc...

A unit of 5 or 10 would be good. Actually you could go off wounds. So let's say 10 wounds would give you 10 men or 5 knights etc.

I would say yes it can. it should be able to keep stacking. its not a re-roll so it shouldn't be limited to only the one roll.

an assassin would be sweet. although all assassins are males, it would be cool to see a witch elf rise to the challange of assassin. perhaps like a michelle rodrigez type macho girl with something to prove...

Re: Dark Elf Corsair Ship
I don't know if you know this but you can bend the balsa or even bamboo skewers using boiling water. You can soak them in boiling water then bend the to the desired shape, clamping them into position with a jig or mold. Keep the heat in it and you should be ok to bend them. Let them cool slowly and ...

Re: Dark Elf Corsair Ship
If you wanted to, you could make the base out of 3mm acrylic plate and use some clear epoxy resin to form waves. Then having creatures in the water would stand out very well. You can tint the resin to the desired colour

Re: Help with my army?
Welcome to Druchii.net!!!! And welcome to Warhammer (whichever edition). To start with i would suggest just getting models that you like the look of, or like the idea behind. There is no right or wrong for army composition. If you want a heavy cavalry army then go ahead and do it. perhaps you can th...

Re: My Naggarond army WIP
My palette was specific enough that I didn't have to mix paint. I'm not familiar with the latest GW paint. I use Vallejo. Try to keep it simple. That's what I did and it turned out fine. I have finished a dreadspear now, bu5 I just gotta shoot it and compress it... Standby...

Re: My Naggarond army WIP
Very nice! Seeing this made me remember one idea about trying vallejo metal medium for similar effects. Looking forward for more updates. I have the metal medium and it works but not as well as you would hope, but Vallejo does have a range of metallics you can use or check out coat d' arms I'll get...

Re: My Naggarond army WIP
Here's the formula. Armour: base coat - amethyst purple - metallic purple from coat d' arms. Black ink - I'm using vallejo paints for everything else Highlight - enchanted green - metallic green from coat d' arms These look fantastic. For the highlight, do you do enchanted green first then metallic...

Re: Square vs Round and weapon range
my friends DOW pikemen minis were scary when we used the standard rule of measure from the model. we had a good laugh but it was countered at the same time with a charging unit. the extra long spears gave me less ground to cover when charging. we figured that because it all cancelled out we could ju...

Re: Races available on the website
When you think about it, it can actually make the hobby cheaper to start. (Lets not get in the whole $$$$ thing) but for starting the hobby you can go in and find what you like and just stick with a couple of small units. over time you can build up a larger army but in the beginning you dont need a ...

Re: Best Dark Elves Units in AoS
I have used Black Guard a ton as i have a good 40 models. i use them in units of 12 to 15 and i have found them to be quite devastating as they have 2 attacks with a range of 2" and hit and wound on 3's with rend.... Bloody hell. a lot of my opponents try to stay clear of them as the potential ...

Re: Un-Welcome to the Age of Sigmar
Fantasy won't really go anywhere, in spirit that is. if AOS does stay around, then we know that the new releases are going to be fantastic looking minis. As much as them looking 40Kish they are still nice looking models. Im a big fan of the khorne minis personally. But i have a feeling that AOS may ...

I would use standard bg minis with the wild wood ranger heads. That's what I'm planning for my executioner units.
