I use the Julie Guthrie harpies from Reaper. You can paint them up Lustria-style for Dark Elves-Lizzie engagements (they are a little feathery), and as they're not technically dark elves you have a bit of freedom to play with different paint schemes from the rest of your army.

Yeah, chariots and hydras were (and I think still are) a great combo charge. Nothing wanted to get near the hydra in a hurry, especially with its chariot 'guards'. I imagine you might do the same with a k-beast/chariot combo...

One thing that might help you pick lores might be to look at Dalamar's thread on the School of the Arcane (in tactics forum)--he's been putting up the strengths and weaknesses of the Lores. Anyway, just a thought--good luck!

I agree that dropping the banners and getting a unit off Crossbows is better. Also, I don't really like banners on Dark Riders anyway. Reason being, there are times when it is worth it to park them right in front of a unit at a off angle to deny that unit movement or draw a frenzy unit out of posit...

Yes, this looks like a brutal list. Watch out for templates, cannons, the Other Trickster's Shard (or is the Trickster? I don't have the BRB in front of me, but one would force rerolls of successful ward saves) and the Lore of Death though. Still, I love this list and may 'borrow' it...

Yeah. The crew has BS3 engineer can use his to help them for BS4. It used to be auto hits in the previous book but it was far more likely to explode as well (and they were S4 hits at over 12"). He got the amount right (3x artillery dice) but it's shots, not hits. Hmm...sounds Gidean got hozed....

I also have four converted chariots (one with a removable master, hee hee). I'd say the best use for them is multi-charging, with some large gribblies to share the cannon/arrow/god-knows-what firing load. You can charge in front, but you need a weakened target and 1-2 more for support, depending upo...

Heavens or Beasts might be fluffiest here (control either the weather or your sea beasts--and corsairs
can always use bonuses to strength and toughness). Perhaps fire too. Regardless, I like the concept. And I just
