In ensuing rounds he would only strike first when it is down to initiative.

IMHO you don't 'NEED' 2 sorceresses, but 1 level 1 with a dispel scroll and the seal of ghrond, or a second dispel scroll if you give the seal to another character, is a good idea.

I do not understand why you guys are arguing over this. In our army book it clearly states the assassin displaces a model, so common sense dictates you would just place the removed model at the back of the unit. Indeed GW even stste theirselves on page 43 of the main rule book, under 'Improvisation'...
