Malekith gave order to leave, all cities but Har Ganeth were put to torch.
Hellebron remained in Har Ganeth for the massive slaughter party until she left to try and steal the Widowmaker (and nearly succeeded).
Naggaroth is now an extension of the chaos wastes now. Nothing but demons and marauders.

Re: Why is End of Times: Khaine kind of lousy
Malekith in the early days of his Phoenix Kinghood is constantly attended to by a bodyguard of five hundred phoenix and black guard. He's got no frinds in the phoenix court. Imrik onky joins him (follows would be saying too much) because he's been convinced to by a cvery particular character. Teclis...

Re: Magic Items for Khaine
Read carefully through a description if Imrik (who happens to carry a magic item normally available to high elves) to understand what writers have meant. It's actually not a stretch to read that all options available to choices take from each respective book are also available to choices taken from ...

Which is kind of fitting for an artifact of Khaine to grant similar abilities to those that are used by Khaine's high priestess.

Re: Magic Items for Khaine
Units in the comvined armies are allowed the selection of upgrades they are allowed in their own books. There is nk distinction, Khaine doesn't list any unit profiles at all so there is nothing to go by other than the respective army books.

It can also die really fast. All you need is a couple ambushing glade riders with hagbane tips and a pegmaster with cloak.

No points costs, it can only be wielded by the avatar of khaine, cost is included wholesale.
D6 wounds are unnecessary, I think HKB captures the nature of the weapon better than d6 wounds.

The Widowmaker Ignores Armor Saves. Attacks made with the Widowmaker can never wound worse than on 4+, regardless of target's T. Any successful ward saves taken to protect from damage caused by the Widowmaker must be re-rolled. Heroic Killing Blow. This weapon grants the wielder the Frenzy special r...

Re: Magic in the End Times: foreign strategy
Death magic will become a must. Spam Spirit Leeches until enemy wizards are dead. Dark magic will remain a must. Word of Pain to neuter enemy combat units (2 casts should put nearly any unit down to WS0) and Oblivion for somene feeling like stepping on a Fulcrum. So right now we have a level 4 dark ...

Re: Can a lone model move backwards with Bridge of Shadows?
Read the rules of Line of Sight. Lower yourself to model's "eye view" level and look around. If you can see the spot, you can teleport there. LoS is not limited by the front arc, you *can* look behind yourself. There are a few extreme cases where LoS is needed but front arc is not, this is...

That was beyond the question. Ithink the consensus is that Widowmaker is not very imaginative. Just a souped up version of Ghal Maraz.

Re: Magic in the End Times: rule discussion
Why would i keep dispelling PoD? If you're not in combat then you may gain a few dice here and there, no big deal. If you're in combat dispelling PoD is more important, until you roll a single die to cast it and roll not enough power. In the meantime my missile fire makes sure the warlocjs are shred...

Whole army, and not cannibalized. Just have a line in whichever future ET book that says:

Direct river link to the seas, not the greatest mind you but don't forget Wood Elves can travel over the worldroots... there are many forests on shores around the world. It wouldn't be too difficult to establish a remote port.

If cannons don't attack then i guess they can't hit so they can't wound.
Maybe we've been playing it wrong all along and cannons are useless pieces of junk?

It is the best weapon currently in Warhammer.
But for a slayer of gods it has a strange weakness to the banner of the world dragon. It should've ignored ward saves as well.

Eternal Guard might actually be the best core in the game right now.
ASF
Fight in 4 ranks on defense (5 in Horde)
Re-roll 1s to wound
AP
Stubborn
WS5
their only downside is S3... so add a dark sorceress to them to cast a couple PoDs and we're good.
