Naggaroth is overrun by legions of Khorne?

They're a little late to the party in my book...

Well, it's what you could do with the old book, so I'd agree that could definitely be on the table.

Given the way things are in WH now, perhaps it's a case of not fitting in Elves...yet ;).

Well, the first two books contain characters from other armies besides their own, so it's not outside the realms of possibility.

Re: Why is End of Times: Khaine kind of lousy

WH is sucking up some of the ideas in 40k - mainly the "Everyone is a bastard" routine. Yes, the High Elves could be morally grey in the past, but they were the 'Good' guys for the most part while the Dark Elves were the 'Bad' guys. If you set everything on fire, it's going to be great ( H...

The Nagash book has paved the way for Skaven, so it seems likely. You'd have thought they would rejig the Skaven book first to really take advantage, though.

Perhaps the Lizardmen will see a shift of focus to the lands south of Khemri. There are Lizardmen temples there as well, I think.

Re: Fluff aside. What does EoT mean for our model range in 9

I see one of two possibilities: 1. This is one big marketing ploy to get people into other armies by getting them to buy other stuff and 9th ed books return as normal (like they did with SoC). 2. It's a 'Clear the decks' operation to release stuff existing collectors might want to buy. Their model q...

Re: Why is End of Times: Khaine kind of awesome

The possibilities are vast, which is interesting. I hope it doesn't lead to combined army books since those in the past have left us with fairly bland units (e.g. the Chaos books prior to 6th ed).

Re: Why is End of Times: Khaine kind of lousy

I'm a natural sceptic. While this may clear a path for new characters or huge army resets...it's not been in GW's nature. Storm of Chaos tried to do nearly the same thing, but nearly anything to do with it was pulled from the game - who's to say that the joined up armies will last? People will find ...

Re: The End Times lists and 50% lord/hero allowance.

I haven't spent close to 50% on characters, yet alone lords, since something like 1998. If you put too many points into characters, your strategy becomes all about them.

More warm bodies is often much better than one guy with a glowy sword.
