I'm pretty sure WYSIWYG doesn't apply to magic items, otherwise there wouldn't be magic items that tell you what magic items another character has. WYSIWYG applies to everything a person would see if it was for real. If your model has a might two-handed axe rules-wide, the model should show it. If ...

Dam'rek, the CoS list I keep seeing in my head will be one of those wide-spread unofficial lists. Not allowed at tourneys, but everyone knows about it and allows you to use them in friendly games. Like that Skaven mutation list.. It's still wayy too early to do anything, but it appears to be interes...

When the new Druchii book comes, I shall personally see to it. We shall have a Cult list made, playtested and published. Maybe it's something for the Herald to use? Could need some filler stuff But as for the development and playtesting, I hope it will not be enclosed to the Playtesters Guild or one...

A second suggestion, which I think I posted a year or 2 ago, is a 'print' feature. When I find a very long topic/discussion interesting enough to take half an hour time to read, I like to print it out (dun worry, it's recycled or used paper with a clean side on it). Also, people summarizing/synthes...

I think one of the hardest lists i have made is have ever made is a TK list with many Many chariots, High priest with dune cloak (makes him fly) and two bone giants. using your 3 magic casters you can smash the two giants into the front of a unit and with all the fast moving chariots you can get of...

Not really the place for Armylist discussions, but I'll give it a go. Sorcoress- LV2, dispell scroll, powerstone 180 Could work, but you have 3 dispel dice. I'd change the stone to the Seal of Ghrond or a second scroll. Assassin- extra hand weapon, web of skulls, tailisman of protection, cry of war ...

Studied maths and physics at uni, but not professor. Yet (will begin anew to become a teaher in physics and maths, starting this coming fall) Also, I felt like commenting that I was including the fact that a roll of 10 would pass as he said he'd have his lord with them. Thus, he'll use Ld10 for thos...

Nahh.. Malus, who wields the Warpsword of Khaine shall inherit the throne! He'd be a kick-arse leader. Full throttle forward with no thought about the consequences. And with Malus on the Throne, the bond with the Chaos Gods would only strengthen and a new attack on the Old Worlds will commence, with...

8 models will be 160mm wide, and wheeling them 90 degrees will take 9.8948 inches. They'd be practically impossible to manouevre around the board. Also, you cannot always expect seeing enemy units with a 5-model 25mm base frontage. So sometimes that 8th model is wasted. For fluff and efficiency, I t...

I'd say Knights, or the unit you fancy the most. Does your army have any theme of fluff? What does the rest of the army look like? What points size are we looking at? With a unit of knights, you get all you need. Ld10 stupidity test is the best you can get, best charge range of the three, best hitti...

If that is not included, I think the previous Cult of Slaanesh SoC list gave us something to build our own Cult of Pleasure list on. I'm sure a community of this size and activity can create a balanced list incorporating the elements of the new book and make a worthy list for us Cult people to use. ...

I cheer inside to not have seen any Wood Elf lists posted yet
I gotta say this is one of the hardest Asrai lists I've seen: http://www.asrai.org/leaf/treeman.html#5.4
And it placed third in the UKGT in 2006.

If he wipes the entire army, gets all four table quarters and the general, it's 680 VPs. If it's a Pitched Battle. Most tournaments use scenarios instead, to avoid these kinds of odd armies.Nightblade183 wrote:That's clever and a draw would be fairly easy to pull off (depending on the opponent)

Don't count on it. GW has shown a few pics of the Asrai special character Orion joining Wild Riders. As he is Immune to Psych (he's more like Undead, really) he cannot join non-immune to psych units. Yet he is depicted together with them in the armybook. Just a casual warning. From what I have heard...

Very true. Fighting fair is for High Elves. Determining who will contest a zone of control depends on a lot of factors, especially the entire battle match-up. If the Dark Elves have the shooting and magic advantage, the Wood Elf player will most certainly advance while the Druchii player can hold b...

I think its time tio give Slaanesh a chance to lead the Dark Elves to victory. Khaine so far has failed miserably. I expect Malekith to finally openly embrace the worship of Slaanesh, with the Temple of Khaine becoming the secondary religion. This woudl result in some hefty infighting, which is goo...
