Really cool to see you back old friend! I miss the old days of MSU/MSE discussion and so forth. Hey buddy, thanks. They were good days indeed but it does seem like an age ago now though 8th edition is all about nasty big spells and big horde units. It's a huge paradigm shift, especially for elves, ...

I really like the Raging Hero stuff, and the Russian Alternative stuff is very interesting too.

Hmm, all these temptations to start a DE army again...

There's a lot of different builds you could do at 1500 pts. so it's kinda hard to just set up one list... what kind of army would you like? Tbh, I'm not sure. Maybe I need to find someone to give me a demo game and that might help formalise it. I like all kinds of play style, but I guess quick movi...

Hmm, so, I haven't played wfb for about 3 years...

OK you guys, I haven't played fantasy for over three years now, which means I haven't played 8th Ed at all. So, if I were to think about starting to play again, what would be a good set of character and unit choices for say 1500pts? What are the weaknesses I need to mitigate for? I'm not bothered ab...

One thing for sure, whilst I'm still not playing it myself, my tournament observations are that it is a lot more fun.

Welcome back dude.

About the event itself, I was one of the Head wfb Referees for 3 years and I would recommend anyone to attend if they get the opportunity. Never mind the rules pack - whether you like it or not is irrelevant - it's about the spectacle of the occasion, the social aspect and getting to partake in your...

I gave up playing wfb two years ago now, and switched totally to Hordes and Warmachine. I had tried it when it first came out, but due to various reasons never continued with it. Now I'm playing it again I find I get ALL of my hobby needs fulfilled. I have played Legion and Menoth and it's just awes...

Remember with washes to water them down and do it with several coats until you get the effect you are looking for.

Mate you've done a good job with that but one small suggestion if I may. The grass effects are too bright imo. Too green, you need to desaturate them a little, either by a very light drybrush in say a brown or maybe a mix of dark grey/black, or with Vallejo pigments. That way they will look more lik...

I like what you did with the unit champ to make him look a bit different. I would suggest tidying up the flamework by neatening the outline now the colours are on (something GeOrc once taught me). The Corsair looks like he has lipstick on. His lips just need muting down a little so the contract is m...

By contrast to others, I like the purple wings. That's probably because I know what the rest of Chris's army looks like. I think it will fit in very well.

Mate it looks awesome dude! Make sure it does make an appearance at the Maul dude.

Selling BaneBeasts Jabberwocor/dragon

Having a bit of a clear out, and as I am somewhat massively unimpressed with 8th ed wfb, I have decided to put this up for sale. It's fully assembled so UK postage only. It's also somewhat of a limited edition as Maelstrom will produce no more of this particular sculpt. £75 + postage. http://i734.ph...
