Hi, Teowulff, welcome back! :) No, 9th Age does not simplify the rules much, with 114 + 15 pages base rules, to be complemented with the army books... What was done was to clarify greatly the rules, which do not have the ambiguity that 8th ed suffered from here and there. At the moment, all army boo...

T9A makes a survey to learn basically how the community wishes to see magic objects spread between the rulebook and the army books.
No need to be a T9A member.

Some models could probably be adapted for T9A. But for many, it's just too close to 40k.

I'm not in a club, so the only reply I can provide is about what we do online. In Druchii.net. Newcomers are first challenged with a question, which used to be related to the late, no longer existing WH8 :o_O: , and has been changed since to something easier. We used to have an automatic welcome mes...

Hi! On the home page, right column, we have a series of links towards all kind of warhammer-era websites. The gaming arena has changed a lot since. Do we need to remove some of the links? More importantly, should we add some new links? If you wish so, please suggest. For example: T9A: http://www.the...

It is nice to keep old books for future references. I brought with me overseas WH BRB 6th, 7th, 8th, DE AB 6th, 7th and 8th, plus End Time: Khaine. -=-=- For T9A, the intention is to have printable books, but they are not fully ready, as the rules were not stable enough so far (nobody wants to repri...

Good news for those who like units of [WH Shades] / [T9A Raven Cloaks] / [cross out the mention unnecessary for you]. Remember, GW ceased to build these units? @Asta Truth lies in the middle. We receive at T9A many praises about the balance of the game, always described as way better than WH8th or previous editions ever were. The complaints we sometimes receive about lack of balance are always about internal balance, within an army book, and even then it i...

In T9A, core is considered a GW legacy which serves little purpose.
I would not be surprised to see it dropped in next edition.
Former core and former special would be in the same, melee category, with ex-core being better at numbers and ex-special better at individual fights.

If anyone still remembers me, congrats! I used to be one of the regulars on Warhammer-Empire I do remember your avatar, but from W-E. http://warhammer-empire.com/theforum/Smileys/phpBB/smile2.gif It goes contrary to their stated agenda of 'no auto-includes', but that hasn't stopped them from making...

No problem for this kind of information, as you do not pretend it is your own creation, especially since you mentioned the source.

I would be quite surprised to see 2.0 delivered before Christmas. Keeping schedules have proven more and more a pain.

:D Deep thanks, Lord Drakon, for this initiative! As you know for sure, I am much more active at the-ninth-age.com than here, which is amply justified by the buzzling activity there. Nevertheless, there is some activity planned here: after thorough discussions, we started a project to keep all 3 Elv...

As Yema's strength is mobility, it is strange to see a Yema list mostly on foot.
Let's see how it performs.

Deep thanks for the update. Internal references moving to a new forum, but having all such links still point at the old forum. Couldn't this be solved by a specific tool? Something like a "Search old link" button, where you would copy/paste the link you have found in the DRAICH or anywhere...
