I just picked the first name on the list.
And, oh yeah, of course because he's the only poet I know.
I don't read much American poetry, though...
If someone would ask me something about Dutch poetry...
-Anyone in here knows Guido Gezelle, and his wonderful poem "Een trinkelende, winkelende waterding"?
Lovely title, isn't it?
Oh yes, you should try to read (translated) poetry from the Middle Ages!
Really funny to read! Just be careful you don't pick/read too many about God, they tend to be boring after a while.
The ones from the medieval France were really good (at least some of them! )
