I have heard they bankrupt?? (not sure of my english here... They have no money left, that's what I wanted to say)
I'm going to check my informations. If they do something like Septerra, they better count me in! :D
Oh, by the way, do you like console-style RPG (as Septerra was made by a team fan of the Final Fantasy serie)?

I'm already back!! (Good to have Inrtenet at work, he he !lol! )
Valkyrie Studios haven't change their site since January.... 2002. They were working on a game called 'Seraphim' but at that time they schearched a distributor. I think they don't find one, too bad the game looked nice but as Septerra didn't sell well... the game was only announced. :(
Feel free to PM if you want to talk about RPG
(What that CDwriter 40x do on my PC  )

I played mordheim for a bit with skaven but it was really boring... i'd advise against going into that area of Warhammer :) . I always though Battlefleet gothic looked cool...

Yeah, FF8 was pretty awful.

I really don't play much Starcraft anymore, Kragg-no time. IT is one of the games I think about playing alot, but never get around to playing. <sigh> oh, for less stressful days...

Uh oh.... Gonna make some friend here !lol!
I don't agree. I found FF8 pretty good. In fact I started playing FF series on SNES with FF6 (and Chrono Trigger, one of best RPG IMO) but I despise FF7 (the main character is awful, always wanted to play sephiroth), like FF8 much (why you don't like it? It's the favorite game of my girlfriend), don't like FF9 (too much for children IMO, although it was the same team who make FF6). Don't play FF10 because I don't have a ps2 (gamecube & dreamcast instead) and I don't like the look of the main character (but that's my taste).
So believe me: if you found FF6 (it was port on PS1), play it! They never remade a so good game (plus it was the game that started the FF success).

ff7: what? i loved cloud. but of course Tiffa stole the show! hmm *drools* also i loved the story. very intricate and took me quite a while to figure out who the heck cloud really was!!

Despise him... Sephroth is so much cooler :D Plus I really enjoying Aeris (Gasp! They've kill Aeris! You bastard !lol! ) and I REALLY don't like when my favorite character go to hell without a ressurect (same happen in Phantasy Star 2). In fact I think Cloud is the worst RPG character ever seen (but, again, that's my taste!) - and when you know what IT is in fact, became worse! But it's me... When I despise the main character, I can't stand the game too (as most of RPG center of the story of the main character). I'm sure I enjoyed FF7 if only Sephiroth was the main character (come to the dark side young one !lol! ).
Never played FF6 Linda?

hmmm ff10 is all nice and fun to play.........sorta, i did like the story of ff7 though. i havn't played 6 so i cant compair but 8 was really lame and so was 9 (from what i played of it) ff10 fights are way better though, forces you to use the whole party not just your 3 favs (aries was my fav too, i was pissed when she died !cry! !cry! )

You can found FF6 on PS1 or on a SNES emulator for PC (the SNES cardrige cost about more than 75$. No joke, it's a collector now). Amano made the character design (I really like him, he designed Vampire hunter D and he world-know for his fantasy art book). The story is huge and on 14 characters, 12 have their own stories (the last 2 were some beast, include a cute mog). Plus you need 12 of them to do the last dungeon.
In fact don't like the story of FF8 very much but... I don't know, I just like it. I know most of FF fan aren't agree with me thought.
Aeris... how many people want to kill the conceptor of FF7 when she died... I think this man was the second most hated people in the world (just after gav! !lol! !lol! )

FF8 Had awful gameplay-I really hated the magic system. Wasn't really able to get into it because of that.
