Word. I'm shocked he's throw his g/f's pic on here. :)

It's all good, for what it's worth.. I voted for her (I think) I can't read German, or w/e language that is. ;) Best of luck to her!

Hey, I gave mine to the chat and look what happened to her. Nothing bad at all... *cough*

Yes, it's great, she's on the first page now. Truly superb, thanks to all!

hehe she looks like my Sister though more Goth and less Punk. I voted hope she wins it.
Mal: Sure. It would be humiliating. Having to lie there while the better man refuses to spill your blood. Mercy is the mark of a great man. (lightly stabs Atherton with the sword) Guess I'm just a good man. (stabs him again) Well, I'm all right.

Hi all, I'm Elvire. First of all, thank you for the votes so far!

Second... I'm about to drop from the first page, so I'm urgent need for a vote-injection. I'd be grateful if you'd help me out. Truly!

Look here!

(Just click the "stemmen" (vote) button, sometimes you need to refresh before you get to see the button.)

Removed the pic and linked to it. Oh and yes, it´s worth clicking that link.

Okay, I voted for you.

More importantly, though, welcome to the site!

Last of all, I will remove the pic tomorrow morning, because while we do have a rule to not post pics directly in your posts but link to them instead, I can see how in this case having the pic in the post itself might be helpful to your cause (also it is only 19Kb, so it won´t cause people with dial-up connections too much trouble).

Good luck!

I apologise for the picture, I didn't notice, I'll keep it in mind!

Thank you for your vote and the welcoming!

I´m sure your boyfriend can tell you all you need to know about the site´s rules, in case you want to continue being a part of Dnet after you won that contest. ;)

Edit: I removed your pic from the Who we are sticky, though, and included a link to it in your post, as I don´t think it´s neccessary there.

Heh, even I've voted.

If damnation's feeling brave he'll introduce you to the chatters...unless he has already wrecked our carefully built reputation.

I'm not going to completely spoil her, you know. Though I have not warned her to the perils of that particular place yet. Should probably do so.

Thanks for voting, though.

You oughtn't. Just take a relaxed stroll through the corridors of this forum, witness both the great wonders and the silly stuff, but KEEP OUT OF THE CHATROOM ! ;)

And, in general, don't steer a topic off course like everyone is wont to do ongothweb, take care of not spraying around emoticons, and don't try to notice the deeply frustrated people often found here :P

Hmm, should check it out. Where's the "incognite" button? :)

There is no incognito button. You could change your nickname after entering by using the command /nick <newnickname>, but those who saw you enter would know you for who you really are.

But if you are a sneaky git, you can have a look at this (unless you already know how to use mIRC or Chatzilla) and then simply join #Dnetchat using a different screenname than you do here on the forums.

Btw, funny that with more than 10k registered users, nobody had used the name "Elf" yet. :D

I come into contact with at least 3 computers daily... so I figure that means I'm voting about 3 times a day.

I've found this very kind too. My friends call me Elf in real life too, so I was really pleased to see that no one had come up with this nickname so far. :)

BTW the incognito-button-post was just a silly joke. ;)

Damnation, Elf, I'm calling shenanigans on that voting process... Pantene needs to filter out some of those contestants. Any idea on how they're going to select a winner with what's been going on?
