Does anyone else like Computer Strategy Games?

Got something to talk about? Be it video games, other tabletop or card games, even random stuff - this is the place to post!

By Strategy I mean the "crunchy" war grognard type of strategy, i.e. Europa Universalis, Hearts of Iron, Allied General, etc.

Just curious, as Warhammer is a fairly complex game in itself. If you do, what games? What do you like/dislike about them?

:)
Well, time WOULD be nice...
And, Storm of Chaos is here. Are you ready?

Shogun: Total War

That game is simply awesome. Then again, I did my undergraduate thesis on Japanese warfare in the 16th century, so I am a bit biased.

I replayed it again recently since I have used Dark Elves, and I am way better than I used to be. Especially in my use of fast cavalry... ;)

Age of Wonders is a fun game too. I liked that one alot.

And Starcraft is my favorite video game of all time, so that fits in as well...

Sorry allmost all of the video games i play more than once generally have big mechs stomping around.

So in realtion to the above. Mech commander. But saying that i'm very much a tactical person so that might not count. (it's cos i think i suffer from ADS and get bored real quick unless maths are involved).
I'd rather lose a closely fought game then have it all sown up in a couple of turns.

Strangely, been here longer than most of the Admin staff.......
