Dark Elf Website

Post by Blackrainey »

Ok, so ive decided to make a site completely devoted to Dark Elves...

I'm sort of stuck as of what to do, i was gonna show all the different models used, with pics and descriptions.

Any recommendations would be groovy, maybe donate some pics if you wish but if anyone has a character they want to be recognised, PM me their pic and stats etc

I think we need a site where all official warhammer fluff from over the different editions is collected, don't we Eldacar ;) ??

just my thought...

Linda, you're so funny.

Anyway, she does make a good point. If you wanna make a Dark Elf site, then why not just base it off of this one? It seems to be doing quite well and most people like it. Like the saying goes "If it aint broke, why fix it?"

Better yet, why not simply add to this one? That way, you get the cool domain name and don't have to pay for it, or the service for that matter - websites being fairly expensive to maintain to say the least. I'm sure if you approached one of the webmasters with a solid proposal that they'd be more than willing to host your ideas here. :)

I always thought that it would be nice to have a section with all the rule updates, magic cards, official and unofficial army lists......etc........

In theory though, we could do much better than links in an FAQ for that and link directly to the pdf files and the like and create our own resource page. No IP violations there and it would be quite useful I think.

Another thing that is quite possible is to use the various GW contacts of our members to attempt to procure a license to host GW IP on this site.

The FAQ page is a resource page - just an under-utilised resource.

When I was thinking about it, I was thinking a tab along the top toolbar that linked to a seprate page of a somewhat unique design (like the initiative sites) that then linked to the various places. You're right, its not very different from the FAQ, but I was thinking it would look like a more dedicated resource link.
