A final say? Well, for starters, I've enjoyed following this thread.

And regarding the topic, on how to aquire a girl:

You dont and she doesn't aquire you. It happens. It just happens.

Wait, you mean women aren't objects to be purchased at your local supermarket?!? Preposterous!

Well, if you're in need, there is a certain brand of female you can purchase at nightshops.

No Archie, you go to a bar for that. Buy a token (read: booze) insert into woman and then eventually you get to take it home.

Well, Lord Fear, you tried, and that's all you can do. Now what you have to do is ask someone else out to the dance, but someone who doesn't have you as enthralled. From your posts it seems that you're heavily into this girl, (or were) and she was dominating your thoughts. So take a moment and look around you, and see if there's someone who's shown interest in you. Just try to avoid mentioning that you already asked someone. That's a bad plan.

Good luck, and it's been an interesting thread. Whodathunkit, all these casanovas on a warhammer forum? :P But then, on the flip side, if you can get a girl despite such a 'geeky' activity, you've gotta have something going for you.

Hey now. There are at least a billion better ways to insult me. That's just a cop-out.

So I finally recieved the long awiated answer, and she said no. But I'm ok with that. All I wanted was an answer, and I finally received it. So I am now going with my really cool back-up date. I'll try and post some pictured once i get them.

I want to thank you guys for all the help you have given me, and I am sure I am not the only one to have beneffited from this thread.

Nice to hear, mate. Sorry you couldn't go with your first choice, but its good that you found someone cool to go with (just don't let her hear you call her your back-up date). Have lots of fun at your dance, and we'll be waiting to see some pictures. And now I will offer you my final piece of advice (until I offer you my next one) don't do some of the things that I would do, but if you do, name it after me. ;)

Good on you for asking her. And even more congratulations on getting a backup date at such short notice. I'm sure this new girl is superior to the older model in every way imaginable.

Don't be to quick to thank us for the advice. If it had been good then you would've surely got the girl.

And whatever you do. do not follow Loki's final piece of advice. Malevion is a far superior name

Ah, backup dates. Great until they find out they are a backup.

that would be why they dont find out

enough contacts and some fast phoning avoids getting bored on week ends lol (last friday I got rejected by one girl and had a date for saturday in the same half hour)

the main thing is to know what the chances of it getting through are, because if you get rejected 3 times in a row its really bad for self esteem, always have a (several) rather sure back up(s) ;)
