Battlefield 2142 Demo

Well, I didn't see a thread on here so I figured I'd point it out. There's an online BF2142 demo available for download here

If anyone's interested I'm online occasionally as Whiteboypolka in servers with middling numbers of people (20-30). If there's enough interest we could do a Dnet clan tag.

I saw the trailers but the didn't 'turned me on' or anything a like.. Is the demo worth DL anyway ?

I downlaod it and tryed to run it ,but it didnt work said somthing was missing. I unstalled it and tryed it again same as before im missing some file

I had the missing part problem too. you can download the missing program here http://www.shdon.com/view?doc=d3dx install and the demo should work fine. (sry if posting links is not allowed)

Not quite, you can't forget Vietnam.

And yeah, I'd say the demo was worth the DL, doesn't take too long to do and you can get in some surprisingly fun games.

Plus, most of the good people bought the full version, so you look really good in comparison

Ive always found the default demo map to be the best map in each of the battlefield games, so I never bought the game itself. Each demo map has been well balanced thus far, and has had a whole lot of playability. I hope it's the same with 2142.

Dam battle field games never seem to work on my computer i try to play this demo and battle field 2 online and ,IT always says the same theing lost connection but i can surf the net fine ?

Frank I used to have the same problem but now works just fine.

Well it isn't something special IMHO.
Just a ordinary FPS with some mechs. I will buy it in 4-5 months
