Your mages dont need to be on steed it just makes them easier target, and since your high elves just stick you mages in some woods where no one can see them and blast the enemy with heavens magic!
PS: why heavens magic, in case you don`t know you don`t need line sight to target thing with it.

Well, your army's a little small for my tastes. Also, you have only one mage. HE are great when it comes to that department. If you lose your mage, you can kiss your dispel scrolls and dispel dice goodbye. You have a mostly mounted army, and your Elf Prince pounds along with foot unit. You're better off taking a level 4 mage. You need some offensive magic.
Otherwise, the army's ok, but your numbers are small.
