it means that instead of shooting in the shooting pahse you shoot in the movement phase.

all normal stuff applies. so if you move far enough you are not allowed to fire as usual, etc.

the only thing that changes is that you may fire in the movement phase insetad of shooting phase

no.

you can move normally. that is 12 inch max.

howver during those 12 inch you may fire your weapons during the movement phase. BUT the total distance you move dictates how many weapons you may fire.

so lets say a falcon moves 7 inches wants to fire then moves another 3.

that is a total move of 10 so a fast vehicle can fire 1 weapon then.

if you move 1 inch, then want to fire then move 11 inch that is a total of 12 inches. 12 inches makes a fast vehicle allowed to fire 0 (zero) weapons so he cant fire.

what is so good about it?

you can move out in the open fire and move behind shelter.

do you follow me now?

it depends on the battlefield and what the oponent usues, but most of the time they are worth it

Especially when it is an important vehicle, like that wave serpent full of banshees , and you still want to use that handy TL bright lance...

They're most useful on Falcons and Wave Serpents. I've heard of them also being used on Vypers but frankly I don't like the idea of spending that many pts on something as frail as a Vyper.
