First off Anderson and khel, look at the dev forum. You can ask me questions there.

Always remember, do not blame a Lord of Khorne, especially if Rork and Lord of Khorne happen to fall into the same sentence ;)

EDIT: But seriously, I would like to contribute to D.net by writing up the fluff, rules or merely any descriptions.

At the time of writing only Rork, Draithon, Azur, Fingol23 and Alumundis are actualy on the development team (I checked when I found that I couldn't see the development forum) just reiterating that I would also like to help, its not like I ever actualy get to play any games anyway.
Moding a group of Druchii.net players is much like directing the musical 'Cats' using actual cats. Frustrating, difficult, chaotic but ultimatley satisfying and a great deal of fun.

As with any campaign, you can't really have 30 people writing fluff for it. You need to limit yourself.

Also, if you're looking for a campaign which includes more races than just the Dark Elves, I can tell you that there will be such a campaign shortly. Hosted by Warvault.net, created by representatives from all the sites who participate in that webring (plus Druchii.net who don't seem to like to join Warvault.net:().

Hey... so um... I believe joining the Campaign team would be for the best since I've been given a position for when it launches already... not sure if I should say it out loud.

Fingol23 came and got me :D

Ah but you are a faction leader. We have agreed to not let them participate in actual development for fairness reasons.

Yeah, though I was going to offer my services in fluff... and if you let all the faction leaders join, we can get a bit of an ahead of time preparation.

I'm just saying of course... I mean as I was going to "put out there" I have worked and am working on several online and offline campaigns and therefore I know game mechanics. (begins writing on a chalkboard 'I will not talk about the Warvault as it is secret, I will not talk about the Warvault as it is secret...')

But, if that is how you feel, I shall sit here and do my little jig until someone says "Go!"

-Jean-

P.S. Of course I would say all faction leaders should join, why? So that when it launches, we leaders don't have to sit there like bumbling idiots spending a week reading everything you come up with and we will actually know how the campaign is being played out before hand. Much more like releasing the hounds I tell you :D

As a reference *points to MDk, Fingol23, and Raneth* they all know I can write fairly well :D from experience. (Raneth experienced it when I slaughtered him in Hour of the Wolf muahahaha)

This requires factions actually have leaders and that they are determined before the game starts. Leaders are players first and foremost and, in my opinion, do not deserve VIP treatment. Developers should not be stakeholders.

If time is required to get organised, give this time to everyone rather than a select few. Otherwise you run the risk of your non-leader players, the majority, feeling left out of the loop.

Just my two cents; I'm not actually involved in this campaign. ;)

Tarbo, the leaders should know first for a good reason. From experience, if a Leader knows how the campaign works and what the fluff is before the other players do, he can present said fluff and mechanics to the people he is trying to recruit.

If they announce it all to everyone at the same time, the Druchii get a head start because the forces of light aren't on this board to read your posted fluff and mechanics, now are they? Hence why the Leaders get the first sneak peek and then people like me go to their respective board and tell everyone what's happening at the same time as everyone else gets to know.

It also allows the game designers to control the ammount of knowledge people have, which will make sense once we start releasing rules....... promise....

Good stuff. Once again- I repetitively ask- any task i can do at all, even if it's just fluff writing or promotion, anything per say that wouldn't interrupt much development or give me vision of the current development at hand?

I think jean wants to help guys! Definitely write some up and send to Fingaithon (kind of like bradgelina... both names combined so that would be Fingol and Draithon) and I'll throw in a good word ^^

Even if you are against the true masters...
