So, whos interested and what do we want our Guild Name to be. I'm more than willing to spearhead the effort to get this going. So, Guild name suggestions and/or anything else!

Well, I'm in!
I guess I'll play either Dark Elf or Chaos... dunno yet. But... If it's going to be a d.net guild, shouldn't it almost be pure druchii?

Im in, US side. I have some experience leading a large guild but I am not really interested in leadership duties again. I personally plan on playing a Dark Elf Sorceress.

They are spoken about as guilds, the lastest podcast was about "the living guild system" for one example. I much more like the term regiment as well, but per the current state of the game it's a guild.

Playing a Disciple myself, but I already have a EU guild.

Than maybe Loki we can start 4 different ones.

I'm in the US so I obviously think we should do US. I also think to keep it a strong regiment/guild we need to allow chaos/OnG otherwise... well our RVR will be weak and no one wants that!

It would be a matter of one person/small group sticking their head together and make a framework for a guild with basic rules/requirements. Those that can live with the later presented framework then start to further develop into a guild. Perhaps get a subforum opened for use if the moderators allow.

At the very least that framework would need a title or name. "Black Ark", "Call of Nagarythe" or something to work from. Basic rules like: No other races then Darkelves, no minors or whichever other basic rules would need to be set. A ton of people throwing ideas and starting new threads won't do much good in actually organizing the start of a guild.

If there is to be a druchii.net guild then there should be no regional segregation. The only requirement should be that the player is a member of the site. Goonfleet has a three month waiting period to prevent spies.

I think if you are a druchii member it should be enough for the guild. I believe Orcs and Chaos should be able to join us. It will hurt our RvR if we limit ourselves to 4 classes of the Destruction side.

I am in north America so would gladely join a guild this side. Although its not strictly fluffy in warhammer terms I wouldn't mind allowing other destruction races in. I like to have a laid back fun time gaming with frineds more then anything overly hardcore. That and DE alone may not turn out to be overly effective.

The game has different clients for US and Euro players so segregation is already there (as much as I hate it)

Although it is segregated we could do a US guild and a EU guild. I also think if we limit ourselves to just druchii our RvR will be too weak for us to make it. The only requirement should be being a member of d.net IMO.

Who said we can't use other races for our purposes? Just not let them join the elite ranks of the Druchii!

AH, fail. I for some reason assumed it would be like EvE online. Ah well.

EvE is rather unique MMO with its single-serverness (yay, made up a new word <.<)

I would think we could have a number of guilds. There will be at least 2 (North America / Europe) and I would think each of those should be broken into two more (hardcore and laid back). Each could have their own forum page.

I am pretty psyched about the game. I preordered the collector's edition from amazon a bit ago. Can't wait to play, it should be loads of fun!

I would very likely join a D.net guild. The people here are superb, but I will admit i'm looking for a fairly hardcore PVP guild. I'm in the US, mind.

For the record, i've lead and been an officer in various guilds throughout my ten years of MMO gaming. Two years in WoW, seven in EQ. I lead a guild in EQ, and was an officer and raid leader in both EQ and WoW. I would be more than willing to extend my experience to a D.net guild.

What about us ozzies in our corner of the earth? You guys will generally never be able to play with us as your time difference is too different....hmm.... if that makes sense...=|

Anyway, should be a fun game.

Those that know how to win are much more numerous than those who know how to make proper use of their victories.
