Yeah, I couldn't resist myself when I saw it in store and bought a copy on release day :P
so far finished 1st chapter of campain which is mostly orcs with some dark elves in the background
storywise dark elves of course used orcs to distract humans while they themselves strike at now unprotected Asur backs :D
really like the theme so far, Cold One Knights are awesome, unlike table top ones ;)

And a mystery is finally solved!
Pronounciation of Druchii is:
.
.
.
dru-kai! (I was right yay!)

Lucky, it doesn't come out for a while where I live but I already pre-ordered it. Looks amazing and the mystery is finally solved, yay!!

It also allows you to play "world domination" type of play... online! :D
on Gamespy you get a map, map is divided into sectors.
You pick a sector, attack it, gamespy finds you an opponent, and after 100 wins (not yours silly, overall of your army :P) on that sector, it's attached to your empire!
pretty nice concept but I can't try it out :( my computer is too weak and the game slows down horribly at some points... totally unfit for online play for me, maybe soon though :P

Yeah, me too! It would be awsome to finally play with DE, I always thought Mark of chaos as a great game but they screwd up with it... hope this will be better!

dru-kai... that's just stupid! Just because its in a computer game doesn't mean its right!

How come this is the first I've heard of this?

More importantly, why aren't I out getting it now?

I've just bought it today, and i'm really injoying it. The story, so far is good. The sound is really good, but it is still slow to load. So; 8/10 so far.

Does anyone know when it is available in the UK?

Also, can you go online still and is the online setup any better?

My own laptop is too slow to run MoC properly, but I hope I can test Battle March at a friend's.

By the way, the trailer/intro to Battle March is almost as impressive as the one for MoC itself: Click me

nope, that's proper pronounciation :P
most probably it's [dru'khai] while the h is silent in the word.
It just puts accent differently to what I used to say but it sounds a little better like this I think

Hi I have MoC it was ok nothing brill. Dose BM require the same PC stats? e.g if I have MoC will I be able to run BM??

yeah if you can run MoC then BM will run just as good (or bad in my case :P)

That's too bad, I probably won't bother then.

When will game companies realize that it is better to sell a game that is fun to play, rather than a game that looks OMG ROXXOR tteh grafiks r AWESUM!!!! but no one ever gets to see the graphics because of the pig-stupid hardware requirements?

lol, fellblade that's where your so wrong. What sells most games is good graphics. what keeps people playing games is good game play. most people (where by most, i mean those that spend the most money on game which do not require a subscription) don't look to much in to how great the game play is. if it looks awesome they buy it. typically these people also have awesome computer as well.

The advantage of making a game with very good game play only matters if you plan to make a sequel, which is why dawn of war did so well.

My bro got mark of chaos but i've never really played it. he didn't think much of it, but i can't say how good it is. however, having the druchii in it obviously makes it allot better!

Ty for the link OldOne, looks like I'll have to save up for a while (spent all my money on kick starting my tyranid army).

I liked MoC, but what spoilt it for me was how easy it was to make armies completly of Mature Cheddar and no one could beat them.

E.G. 4 mounted elven princes, or an army full of furies.

I got this game last week and just completed the new campaign with druchii. At one point it asks you if you want to carry on as druchii or orcs since up to that point you use both.

The prononciations are Dru-Khai and Mal-a-kith

i always thought it was droo-chee and male-keeth

though in the malus darkblade series (i think) it does say the druchii language has a sharp pronounciation.

The game itself is great though, COK kick ass! where are the chariots though...

Chariots wouldn't fit on a boat as it wasn't full scale raid
I'm missing Dark Riders though, as no Druchii army is complete without scouts (shades are there in a few missions but unusable)

and as far as it indeed is [dru-k(h)ai] the h is silent
she clearly calls our king [Mal(e)-kith] like male with silent e

yeah the pronounciations in battle march arent how i pronounced it, but i agree they sound a lot better

the dru-kai mal-a-kith ;)

good point about the chariots. I have the feeling the next expansion will play dwarves and vampire counts since these 2 armies have been in both games so far but remain unusable except in mercenaries (dwarfs)

Well at least I got one of them right...

Oh, well now I have to get this game, I didn't even know it was out yet(U.S.)

Yeah its a good game but never got to use the hydra at any point did I miss it???

Apart from that the missions were mixed and clever. Got my butt kicked the first 3 times I played the mission where the orcs get ambushed!

Yeah, hydra and dragons are for multiplayer only. kinda sucks, but fully upgraded harpies are amazing, they tore trough half orc army in the final battle for me :P

i found the cold one knights and crossbows to be most useful. 3 lvl 3 units of 36 crossbowmen against the orcs means the units never reach your battleline ;) plus you get RBTs

Aye, shooting is silly good in this game (especially since you can shoot into combat)
