The pet shop was closed from tomorrow til after Christmas so I bought the mouse today and tried feeding her and she took it. Her first feed with me, it was amazing Watched the whole thing from strike to dislocating jaw to eating it whole to relocating jaw. Wow... I will try and get pics of the second feed for sure!

Here is my temporary housing for Medusa my Royal Python. I will be sure to post up pictures of her proper vivarium when I get home, for now this is where she is living:
first the outside. I had to cut the lid away and put on this green rubber mesh stuff because the tank was retaining too much moisture even with 30 holes drilled into the top. Now the humidity is stable and she can not get out, it is totally safe.
Next up the interior display. As you can see she has a medium water bowl and small hiding cave, she also has a plant pot upside down with a hole cut out which she loves. Her favorite den so far has to be the cave on the left though which is a medium exo terra snake cave.
Which as you can see, comes complete with moss and Python!
So what do you think? Photos of proper 3' vivarium to follow asap.

Very nice Pyro, we may not have a snake (well not officially, we have a few brown snakes out back... but they're kind of lethal) but we have 16 Alpacas. Somehow, I don't think my parents would let me keep a snake either.

Nice. I wonder which Aspect she'd represent.

New Pics, Feeding on a Mouse. If you don't like that sort of thing, please look away now!
Here we go:
I did not take pics the whole way down as I feel it may freak some members out, but here you can see from the point where the mouse is most way down. Watch that tail shrink as it gets slurrped in! Remind anyone else of spaghetti?

I do have a video including the strike and everything of another feed, but its almost a GB in size (13 mins long) and was taking over 10 hours to upload to youtube so I gave up on it. May upload it eventually and show you guys!
And yeah, she always grins when she eats like that, looks like it anyway.
