Could you actually say something about the album? Just posting the album cover is hardly what I'd call a constructive post.

Buy the album then. Nothing I will say will really give you view into the song and show of Metalocalypse - Dethklok more then actually listening to them. Moths in your wallet? Torrent is your friend.

The original post was more directed at the people who really know who/what Dethklok is.

A little plain but still reasonable. Good but not the best, imho.

Well, yes. But what are you trying to discuss? How awesome it is? It's subtle blend of various ideas and reinventing the genre? Your own personal review?

There doesn't seem to be a clear point to your post.

I don't think the album itself is released for another few weeks. That was just initial promotional details and album cover so far. The songs will all be full extended versions of those performed in the show. And since the show is BRUTAL, then this will be suitably BRUTAL in turn.

Also due is a season 3 sometime in the north american autumn (fall).

Nothing need be discussed. I am a mere messenger.

Also. Season 3 episodes are going to be 30 minutes long, apparently.

Excellent! Only problem I had were the episodes were too short!

Your logic fails on the grounds that there are people who have NFI what you're on about.

That's great news. I am looking forward to picking the album up, and watching 3rd season when it comes around.

Oooh. I wonder if this one will be as hard to get a copy of in stores as the last one?

I shouldn't have to explain the obvious to people Arc. Looking at the picture is enough for a person who has the IQ of a monkey to deduce what the thread is about. But just to be kind, I'll try to set it out for people.

Title: Dethalbum II

It has arrived.

It is obvious that I have posted a picture of the ALBUM cover. But said person doesn't know what Dethklok and/or Metalocalypse is. Said person proceeds to whinge about not knowing what said topic is about. Said person must not have access to Google or is just extremely lazy.

Take it easy Khel. If people in the P&M forum just posted the name of their force and how awesomely painted it is, and then told others to google for pictures of it, the forum would be very empty and Google very rich.

But since you're too stubborn, follow this link for a preview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-wyUMff9gY

As far as that preview is concerned, I find the guitar noodling + start-stop palm muting at the beginning uninspired and boring, then the song picks up to the usual double bass fare for a bit, and then some harrowing synth choirs kick in. Not my cup of tea, granted, but certainly not as good as you deem it to be, either.

Dethklok is pretty damn good, parody notwithstanding. Brendon small can play some brutal solos. The show is hilarious too especially if you love gore and references to black/death metal bands.

Nope, it's not a masterpiece. But it works well if you've seen the series, and it's pretty easy listening as death metal goes.

Anyone actually listened to DethAlbum II yet? I just got it today and am thoroughly impressed with the increase in quality from the first album.
