If you are willing to strip and repaint, then yes. But I would not play with ugly paint jobs even if I got the models for free.

Seems like a nce deal to me... 177 models for euro 300,-
Which is about € 1,66 per model...not bad at all.
I'm not sure waht the old edition hydra looks like...but everything else seems to be very usable.
But indeed...you might want to repaint it anyway ;-)

Don't underestimate the job of stripping to re-paint. If you have more time than cash, it looks like an ok deal, especially if you offload the extra units/models you're not going to use in order to cover some of the up-front cost. If you have the cash, watch e-bay for assembled & new on sprue, time is money.

Nah not really a great buy, it looks like just two battle boxes whacked together with a small attempted expansion into the specials choices.

What do we really need from the set?

40 Spears
5 harpies
(2) 5 Dark Riders

The Hydra is useful.

5 CoKs is meh, you need to invest money into another box for 10 knights
10 WE is meh, you need to invest money into at lest two more boxes of them
20 Executioners again, is meh, you once again, need to invest money into at least one more box of them
15 BG ooook....you only ever run 20 and no less! Once again, you need to invest into one more box, too....

Chariots aren't always used
definitely won't use 4 RBTs, only gobbos do that!
6 Manflayers technically gives you 9 shades ok...should you spend money on a box of Shades to get one more model just to have two complete units of 10?
25 Corsairs, situational unit, you won't always use them as a staple main unit.
20 RxBs might see more action than 25 Corsairs, but not a definite thing compared to spears.

two assassins...again, not often used, unless you run renbane assassins with shades
DL on CO...only if you go buy another box of CoK first, and a CoB...

Imo, spend those 300 euros on stuff you will use and make proper numbers for your elites. Right now, all the elites you buy from this set needs expanding.
