That's a good way to proceed for a stairway scenery.

I was wondering what do people think would make good Dark Elf terrain?

My initial thoughts...

- Watch Tower
- Gate
- Temple of Khaine
- Black Ark
- Corsair (Small Ship) Reaver?
- Slave Hold
- House
- Altar of Khaine

Can you think of any more?

Arena
Fortress
Cold One fighting pit
Cold One / Dark rider stable
Beastmaster training ground (manticore, hydra etc.)
Weapon Arsenal
Slaves chopping trees under guard (so your normal forest with some druchii improvements ;) )

Tower of Sorcery
Sacrificial chamber
Barracks
Palace - I envisage something like the Emperor's Palace in the movie "Hero"
Brothel
Cold One Stables
Library

These are some excellent suggestions... and some inspirational posts so far. Considering the interest shown for this topic, I'll try to get something going for scenery during this fall. But by all means, keep the ideas coming! The more, the better.

New member here and I just had to join and ask what model would you use to make the corsair ship?

I have searched high and low for a suitable model.

It's a custom build unfortunately - I doubt there would be anything off the shelf that you could use.

I have been doing quite a bit of research into building one myself and slowly collecting a variety of bits to build one.

I am a little while off getting the project underway, but will endeavour to post my progress when I do.

I've looked at Spanish galleon models and the shape is not bad but finding the right scale! been looking at 35:1 models but it's a very limited range :(

and thanks for the welcome. :D

Some other Druchii terrain ideas:

Harpy nest
Hydra cave
Public baths (kind of like the Roman versions - somehow the notion seems very Dark Elfish to me)
Treasure chamber

Hi guys - to take this thread one step further I have posted a poll.

If you would like to see one piece of Dark Elf Terrain built what would it be?

Vote for your favourite piece and I will build it.
