Farewell to Warhammer

I have not been on this board for months. A combination of being very busy in real life and being generally disenchanted with GW and Warhammer soured me on the hobby. It started with the crazy prices for the last Dark Elf release, and the whole End Times thing just smelled bad to me ...
I have tried to give Age of Sigmar a go, but I don't like it. The basic rules are *OK* but the almost total lack of a balancing mechanism (summoning and big nasties like Nagash completely break the victory conditions based on wound count) sucks. And the prices on the new models make me choke.
So the GW & Warhammer era of my life (since 3rd Ed.) looks to be over. Looking into both WarmaHordes and Malifaux to get my tabletop gaming fix. I am selling my Dark Elf stuff on eBay if anyone is interested -- http://www.ebay.com/sch/indyjohn2010/m.html?item=151808500634&ssPageName=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
I do believe I still owe someone a model for the Druchii.net secret santa and I will follow up and make good on that. Otherwise, farewell.
