Where did these models come from? White Dwarf freebies?

Post by Jolemai »

Does anyone know which White Dwarf these came from?

The sprue on the left was when Planetary Empires was released, the sprue on the right must have been heralding the release of a WFB edition (sprue is marked 2006) but I can't marry it up.

Thanks in advance.

The first sprue is from the second edition of Mighty Empires in 2007, not Planetary Empires (which was a later 40K-based version). It came with WD331.

The second sprue came with WD321 to advertise the Battle For Skull Pass box.

If you're outside the UK, then the WD issue numbers will be different, though.
