A mixed bag of leftover stash from yesteryear's image salvage, courtesy of Photobucket. Small haul, and not as exhaustively scanned for as other salvage runs. A Jules Verne squid picture and some anatomical drawings by Leonardo da Vinci are included since the salvage was made with inspiration for Chaos Dwarfs in mind, and fleshly strange parts are a familiar sight for Daemonforged Chaos Dwarf machinery.

Actually, I went back to Nantes and visited Les Machines again, this time full visit.
It is even better than I thought.
Below, the crab, the mole, and the spider hovering the ant.

Just visited http://www.vinci-closluce.com
Last home of Leonardo da Vinci.
Now with real-size models of some of his inventions. :P

I visited Clos Lucé a few years back. Cool though the models were (there were only a few back then), my most vivid memory is of how freaking tiny Leonardo's bed was! Which is strange, because he was apparently a pretty tall guy for his time period (5'8"). He presumably slept sitting up...

Indeed.
Sleeping sitting was asumed to be good for breath. Was done in Western Britanny till one century ago.
Lying down was good for dead people.

Didn't Leonardo supposedly never sleep for more than 10-20 minutes at a time anyway? Or am I thinking of someone else? So maybe he didn't actually use the bed.
