Light Cavalry

Post by Shadowblade... »

Well, if a Light Cavalry unit is charged and decides to flee they regroup the next turn automatically, right? and they can move normally, does this allow the unit to charge the next turn??

Thanks to anyone caring to slove my doubt...

They don't regroup automatically (you have to test normally), but other than that, I believe that they can move normally (including charging).

They cannot charge since in the turn sequence you have to declare chargers before you attempt to rally your fleeing troops.

Fast cavalry that rally can move normally, including marching. However, they cannot shoot in the turn they rally. This question is specifically addressed in a Q&A thread that is stickied at the top of the Games Workshop Warhammer Fantasy message board.

they do NOT rally automatically. nor can you charge on that turn that you rally. and of cource not shoot. the ONLY thing that is special with fast cav and rallying is that they may make a move (even march move) on that turn.

It's not the ONLY thing that makes them special,
360 shooting is quit special to is it? ;)

Remember that they can only move when they rally after having fled as a charge reaction

No need to see him at the start of any phase.

If you can draw a line of sight in any point of the shooting phase, you can shoot.

Hey, sorry for this, but i read in the Spanish version of the Altdorf Manuscripts II that Fast Cavarly DO rally automatically the turn after they choose to flee as a reaction of a charge, anyway, if i am mistaken you will tell me..
