Mhhh, since reading dark alliance's post about the refs at UK GT, i think i might actually take this item to tournaments. Should not be too hard to convince them it is used to protect a unit within 6 inch. And even if they are not wholly convinced, I still get to roll a d6 to prove my right.

Which is the more terrible item...looks about 50/50 !
...And so it came to pass that the foul elf known as DEKHALAN CHILLWIND invaded our fair shores. This fiend began a campaign of killings, rapings, lootings, enslavings and burnings, sparing neither age nor sex...

If only it worked like this:

Ring of Hotek - ??pts.

At the begginning of the game, nominate one enemy wizard, any doubles that wizard rolls when casting a spell results in a miscast.
Stops working if the bearer dies.

Just a surgestion.

That item would pretty much screw an opposing Archwizard completely! ;)

If your charging a Magic user with a beastmaster on a manticore and it isn't your super hard Vampire, it's gonna die anyway, unless you have dice with only 1's and 2's on them
