0+ Save?????

Post by Peteralsen »

If you would use a noble with HA, SDC, Cold One with enchanted shield.

Enchanted Shield-5+
Heavy Armour-3+
Sea Dragon Cloak-2+ 1+ vs shooting
Cold One-0+

Is this possible or will it count as 1+

yep, this is possible, although a roll of 1 will still fail. But it's better against High S attacks

BTW, I'm moving this to rules question

Yes its completly legal the only diference is that your opponent will need a much higher strength to lower your save byeond 2+!

All very true, in fact, I use this noble quite frequently as my COK babysitter.

there are many ways of doing it so it is good we can get a good save. my friend plays the baldurs gate games and he said 'the drow' (our druchii) have the best armor in the game so it is little wonder that we can do this. though it isnt uncommon as every other army can do stuff like this also.

But what if I have -1 save. And get shot bu the wind of death. That would give me 0+ so would a 1 still fail.

If so does this mean that spearmen can kill empire knights?? They always fail on 1.

but if someone shoots you with a grape shoot from a cannon.- 2 armour save strength 4. ok if you have you noble with a 0+ save you still only have to roll a 2+ armour save on the other hand if you only had a 2+ armour save you are needing 5 or 6 to save. also when you go up against people that have a strenght greater that three they get a -1 armour save. so if they are strength 5 you still get a 2+ armour save.
Ok that is it who put a stop payment on my reality check. WELL?

Pretty standard equipment for a DE highborn, that lot above and the GoP, the only thing that changes is the mount.
