I'm puzzled about that. I saw today's date, but wasn't there a new errata document for WE just a few weeks ago? What's new?

Moonstone of the hidden ways, now you can only use it in your own turn. Before it said enemy's turn too.

are you sure? I don't have wood elf army book at home but last time I checked it said that the character and unit he's with can use it at the end of "its" movement phase (small word, easy to miss)
maybe I was wrong though :P

I believe it says "the" Movement phase. The previous FAQ (the one that came out in April) confirmed that, but the current one, says otherwise.

Just checked the FAQs... and they still don't cover everything (go figure).

One question that remains unanswered for me is can unit bolstered by Invocation of Nehek move enemy models engaged with it in combat (for example unit of skeletons charged from the rear adding more ranks, effectively pushing the charger backwards)

But no more M8 barded nightmares which is good ;)

I was really really hoping for a realistic response for some BoC questions. My second army is now officially the weakest in the game by not getting ranks on beast herds AND losing all HoC items... UGH so annoying when they can't just admit they messed up and fix it... RAWWWWR

Previous FAQ (that came out recently) said you could use it in the enemy phase, and people where up in arms. So now they fix it.

Q: If avampire has the flying horror power and is mounted on a Nightmare, does he retain the ability to fly?

A: Yes he does. However, since he would also lose his 360 line of sight it seems like a very silly thing to do!

Hilarious.

I think this quote sums up gw's short sightedness when it comes to listening to playtesters. I'm sure most of us can see the advantage of having a flying vampire lord with a mundane 2+ armour save (and a lance) who is still allowed to join a unit (since he's not on a flying mount)!

Indeed. Anything is better than nothing though!

p.s. its a pretty awesome thought though... a very mean vampire riding about on his black charger but then decides to fly so sprouts wings and picks up the horse!

actually i disagree, we all knew how the raiders rule question would end up any way, and it was rather obvious that we were going to lose the HoC items (not that i used any) but what we gained was the ability to mark chariots (something we couldn't do before

and the other thing we gained is for the Tzeentch players to created Tzaangors with the Indigo fire spell, which is huge as Tzaangors on the charge can actually kill something which horrors before could not

also am i the only one that finds it hilarious that at the beginning of the beastman FAQ they state that you will no longer need to reference other books and then in the answer section they reference the deamons of chaos book for Pink horrors

So, if beasts can't use the HoC book, what lore does a beast shaman with the mark of nurgle use?

Who can tell I use a series of printouts for that book and not the book itself? Anyone? ;)

I am just glad that tuskgor chariots can now take marksa of chaos, which makes them even better then before, or at least until a new FAQ comes out

I thought the whole thing with indigo fire was the people mutating into the horrors, so now we have them mutating into tzaangors, which is very tzeentchy, abd makes more sense as when you mutate you become mutants not deamons, and that is just what beastmen are

On another note if you kill enough models with that spell, and your horrors become a wizard, which lore of tzeentch do you use, I think the daemon one but just making sure

it would have to be the demon lore as we have no basis to determine which spells they would get out of the beastman lore

i apologize for the double post, however, I'd love to also point out the short sightedness of GW's vampire count FAQ in the errata removing the swarms rule from bat swarms, yes we are all aware that the crumble rule for swarms is redundant with undead, however, it isn't redundant with things such as certain lore of beast spells, or items that effect swarms, which i find somewhat funny, that spells that effect "swarms" do not effect "bat swarms"

If you have more to say then edit. Linda

So even with the release, we have no verdict about corpse carts adding ranks? I guess it's not a VC specific question, but I was kind of hoping they'd answer that one.
