Spirit of the Forge

Heya

I'm sure this question has been asked many times before but i cant seem to find the answer.

Spirit of the Forge states that 2D6 models in the unit get affected;

1. Can it be cast on characters

2. If you roll more hits then there are models, the extra hits are discarded? Or is there some ruling to amend the spell to 2D6 -hits- rather than models.

I haven't got my brb here but if you check the gw site faqs, I think it was amended to say that IIRC.

yes, the FAQ changes it to 2d6 hits.
