vampires armour

seeing as vampires, to all intents and purposes, are mages, and mages cant wear armour and still cast spells, excpet chaos, can vampires still wear armour and cast their raise dead spells.

it doesnt say they can or cant in the army book.

It does actually.
They can wear magic & mundane armours as they have the option to do so within their bloodline powers.

There is no rule preventing mages from wearing armour and casting spells. That is 6th edition.

Because we have no option of taking armour, look in the book, she doesnt have any option to take any form of armour and so therefor cannot take any magical armour.

The rule preventing Wizards from taking armour has changed to the need to have the option in your Wizard's entry.

Sorceress Equipment does not have Light or Heavy armour, nor Sea Dragon Cloak nor Shield.

If the sorceress had access to Light Armour, you could buy ANY magical armour that are not shields (helms, cloaks, body armors, gauntlets, whatever) and if the sorceress had access to a shield, she could take any magical shield.

Vampires have this access to Armour & Shields through Bloodline Powers, this bloodline power counts as equipment and is the same as having Light Armour option for x points, shield option for x point, etc.

And I thought there was a phrase in the vamp book saying they could take magic armour anyway? Go back to the VC book and read it again, I'm sure its in there.

Yea...there's a specific entry to avoid confusion in the Vampire armybook at the start of the magic items section.
