Unit Fillers

I had asked this in another topic on Unit Fillers but got no reply.

Are Unit Fillers a tournament legal way to flesh out a unit?

If you only have 22 Spearmen and you want to say your unit has 30, can a unit filler be used to represent the extra spearmen?

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. Can we get some confirmation on what has been said? Maybe some specific quote? Thanks again.

The question whether something is tournament legal is not really one we can answer here. It varies from tournament to tournament. Each organiser has his or her own set of rules the players must abide to. Ask your tournament organiser to get the right answer.

Ok. Let me re-phrase. Would it be allowed at a GT?

Your still in the same place. Check the rules pack, if its not in a rules pack you will have to check with the organizers of the tourny. As always, forgiveness is likely easier to get than permission.

In the States, several GTs I have attended have no rules agaisnt them and as long as they are characterful and painted in keeping with the rest of the army most players enjoy seeing them. The example you provide 22 models strehe to 30 would be fine. Soemthing lke 8 models stretched to 20 is IMO a bridge too far.
