The cauldron of blood says it makes Khainite units within 12" stubborn:
does that include assassins?
does that make their unit stubborn even if it was something non-Khainite like warriors?
does that even apply when the assassin is hidden?
A black guard unit can upgrade to either a tower master or to Kouran:
Is Kouran therefore a tower master?
If so, so does he get 25pts magic item allowance?
Or is that already accounted for by his Crimson Death?
I have looked through the book and not found answers to these questions.
Thanks.

CoB & Kouran & Hellebron - 3 Questions

For the assassin question.
Because of the rule: A killer not a leader, you can't use the assassin leadership and even if he's in the range of the Cauldron, the non-khainite unit won't get stubborn since the rule prevent you from using his leadership that can't be modified.
So you can never make warrior stubborn with an assassin.

You pretty much answer your question right there.
It says the magic items allowance is for Tower masters only. Since Kouran is a separate upgrade he's not a tower master (He's Kouran).

ok thanks, and i just thought of a third question:
the manticore rules state the rider need to roll a leadership test each turn or the rider and manticore both become frenzied for the turn. Hellebron has frenzy, does her manticore have it too, if not do i still need to roll a leadership test to see if the manticore gets frenzy.

the manticore has frenzy due to the rules of mount psychology, as such there is no reason to test each turn (since i believe the rules also state that if hellebron dies the manticore gets frenzy as an automatic result anyway
as for the first post
does the assasin get stubborn? yes (if he's solo he uses stubborn LD 10)
does this pass to a unit of warriors? no as per the killer not a leader rule(however if it's a death hag, then yes the warriors would benifit from her stuborn

Heartrender, I think Mordru's comments on another page just gained credibility. These were answered recently and also easily findable in the rulebooks. I'm not trying to flame you, but the # of easy questions you're asking is growing seemingly exponentially. I usually like your non-question posts, though, so please don't take this harshly.

@ddgrj: no problem man, ive just been encountering some things i cant seem to find answers for myself when rereading the dark elf book again and again. I will take the time to check the rulebook as well, mount psycology slipped by me this time, and as per assassins i wasnt sure stubborn passing on was necessarily related to their Ld not being able to pass on.
Still, Thankyou for the answers everyone, thats my questions wrapped up anyhow
