Greetings fellow druchii.

I have been working on changes and additions I would like to see in our 8th ed book to help stop the whinning and add some new and fun options to our list.
Granted I'm not sure how it will be appreciated but I would like to show you my version of how I would like our 8th ed book to be like. I will only post changes and new gribblies. Everything else is the same.

Any comments and criticism will be appreciated.

Here is what I have come up with.

Druchii 8th ed list

Lord choices

Dreadlord
-New option: Can become a Khainite for +5pts. If so he gains the Khainite rule.
-Black Dragon 360pts (same with Supreme Sorceress)

New Lord: Hag Queen
-Stats as a Dreadlord +1 I.
-Can take upto 100pts worth of Khainite gifts and Poisons.
-Can take a Cauldron of Blood for +125pts.
-Two hand weapons.
-May Ride a Manticore for +200pts.
-Special Rules: Frenzy, Eternal Hatred, Khainite, Poisoned Attacks.
-New Rule: Bride of Khaine: Has MR (2) and 1 Witch Elf unit counts as core if she is your general.
-175pts

Heroes

Master
-New option: Can become a Khainite for +5pts. If so he gains the Khainite rule.

Death Hag
-80pts
-Cauldron of Blood is 125pts

Priest of Khaine
-Same stats as a Master
-Gives +1 DD to the army.
-Hand weapon
-Can take upto 50pts worth of Khainite gifts an Poisons.
-Equipment Options: Two handweapons, Light armour, Heavy armour.
-Gives unit it joins MR (1).
-Khainite, Poison attacks, Eternal Hatred.
-Can cast 1 prayer per turn (Bound spell) at a PL of 4.
1. Khaines Wrath: All enemy units in Base to base contact with the Priest and their unit suffer d6 str 3 hits with no armour saves.
2. Shield of Khaine: The Priest and their unit gains a 5+ ward save. RIP
3. Bloodlust of Khaine: The Priest and their unit gains the Frenzy rule. RIP.
-Points: 120

Assassin
-Now a Hero choice.

Core

Spearmen
-7pts base.
-Can take the city guard formation for +1 pt per model (Same rules as they were in the city garrison list)

Corsairs
-RHB range increased to 12"

New Core: Khainite Devotee's
-Same stats as spearmen
-Command Cost same as Spearmen
-Can magic standard upto 25pts.
-Equipment: Two Hand weapons, Light Armour.
-Special Rules: Poison attacks, Eternal Hatred, Khainite.
-Points: 9

Assassin Adept
-M5,Ws7,Bs7,S4,T3,W2,I8,A2,Ld8
-Same rules and workings as our Current Assassin.
-Can take upto 50pts worth of Khainite gifts and Poison.
-Same Equipment options and points as Assassin.
-Points: 50

Special

Witch Elves
-+1 Ws
-Banner allowance increased to 50pts
-11pts base

Executioneers
-Replace Great weapons with Draich. Draich gives +2 str on the turn they charge, +1 str in continuing rounds.
-Banner allowance increased to 50pts.
-13pts base.

New Special: Hunting Packs
-All units are monsters and handlers. In the case of multiple monsters, nominate a monster model to use for charging/overrun resolution. This will always be the last model in the unit to fall as a casualty after which the remaining beastmasters become skirmishers. All Beast masters have the same stats and equipment as the Hydra Beastmasters.
-For each beastmaster you can have upto 2 monsters.

They may drive one of the following beast packs.

Horned Ones
M6,Ws3,Bs0,S4,T4,W1,I3,A1,Ld4
Unit size: 1-3 Beastmasters and 1-6 Horned Ones.
Horned One Special Rules: 5+ Scaly Skin, Cause Fear.
Points: Beastmasters (8pts), Horned Ones (12pts)

Giant Spiders/Scorpions
M6,Ws3,Bs0,S4,T4,W1,I3,A1,Ld4
Unit size: 1-3 Beastmasters and 1-6 Spiders/Scorpions.
Spiders/Scorpion Special Rules: Poisoned Attacks, Ignore Difficult Terrain, Cause Fear.
Points: Beastmasters (8pts), Spiders/Scorpions (13pts)

New Special: Hydra Younglings
-M5,Ws3,Bs0,S5,T4,W3,I2,A4,Ld5
-Unit size: 1 Beastmaster per every Hydra Youngling.
-Equipment: Beastmasters have the same Equipment and stats as a Hydra Beastmaster. Hydra Younglings have Claws (Hand weapons)
Special Rules: Monsters and Handlers.
-Hydra Younglings: Str 3 Breath Weapon (Flaming), 5+ Scaly Skin save, 5+ Regeneration, Cause Fear, Eternal Hatred.
-Points: Beastmasters (8pts), Younglings (65pts)

Shades
-Unit size: 5-15.

Rare

War Hyrda
-1 less attack
-220pts base.

Reaper Bolt Throwers
-Can take Dragon Fire Bolts for +25pts. When You fire Single Shots they cause D6 wounds instead of D3 and hits count as flaming.

Black Guard
-Replace Heavy Armour with Full plate armour
-14pts base.

Temple of Khaine
-Rending Stars cannot exceed str 6 by anymeans.
-Dance of Doom 25pts.
-Rune of Khaine 35pts.
-Hand of Khaine: Instead of loss 1 attack the model chosen is reduced to 1 attack.
-Cry of War: Instead of loss 1 Ws the model chosen is reduced to Ws1. 15ps.
-Dark Venom: Follows the normal Poison rules in addition to its added effect.
-New Gift: Martial Perfection: Always Hits on a 2+ in Combat. Enemies are at a -1 to hit the bearer in combat, 35pts.
-Venom Sword: 50pts

Magic Items
-Deathmask: 40pts
-Hydra's Teeth: Ws4, S4 hits.
-Crystal of Midnight: 20pts
-Black Dragon Egg: 25pts
-The Guiding Eye: Not one use only, 35pts.
-Gem of Nightmares, 20pts
-Sword of Ruin: 40pts
-Web of Shadows: 20pts
-Chillblade: 35pts
-Heartseeker: 25pts
-Dagger of Hotek: 25pts
-Armour of Living Death: Remove the stupidity rule, 50pts.
-Armour of Eternal Servitude, 50pts.
-Cloak of Hag Graef, 15pts.
-Shield of Ghrond, 20pts.
-Black Amulet, Doesn't allow ward or regen saves, 75pts.
-POK: The wearer cannot wear any kind of armour or magical armour.
-Ring of Hotek, 30pts
-Seal of Ghrond, 25pts
-Banner of Nagarythe, 100pts.
-Banner of Cold Blood, can choose to use it whenever you want, No need to announce it at the start of the turn, 20pts.

Special character

Malekith
-+1 Ws
-Knows all the spells from the dark lore.
-If your general then Black guard are a special choice.
-Midnight armour is full plate instead of heavy.

Malus
-+1 Toughness
-290pts

Shadowblade
-+1 attack

Kouran and Tullaris
-+1 Wound each.
-Kouran is +50pts
-Tullaris is +75pts
