CoB large target = Witches large target?

Post by Falstaff »

Hi!

The CoB counts as a big target, so, if it joins a unit of witches, does the unit count as large target as well?

I'm asking cause I'd like to use my Dark Riders as cover for the witch block against BF shooting.

Does anyone know for sure?

No, just the cauldron is a large target. But, being large target makes the unit a possible target when otherwise they may have been completely out of sight (behind a hill perhaps).

Now, if you play with non-BRB LoS rules then above answer might not apply.

The "Large Target" rule has no bearing on Line of Sight. Only the physical size of the model matters.

In this case, the physical size of the model does mean that when it is part of a unit, that unit will be easier to see.

As long as more than half of the models in the relative front of the unit is obscured, yes.
