Couldren LD value

What happends if the hag is killed of the couldren when the couldren is not in a unit?

I mean what if i hypothetically would charge the couldren with hag out of the unit wyches against an enemy character, and the character kills of the hag but the couldren takes no wounds (he could do that because its a mount option an u can choose to direct attacks at the rider). But on what LD will the couldren test if i loose combat, because the couldren (and crew) does not seem to have any LD value.

Or am i just missing something obvious?

Yes it can, just like any other unit.

It's generally best to keep it in a unit of Ld8 witch elves.

Though I did play one game where my witch elves lost combat by 1 point... but had Treason of Tzeentch cast on them a turn before (use lowest Ld in the unit, can't use Inspiring Presence or Hold your Ground!)... enough to say that losing by 1 and having to roll a Ld0 Steadfast break test is not the most fun thing to do.

Not even.
Ld0, so any Ld test is autofail. No dice roll, and insane courage is not possible.

But you can use General's Ld indeed.
