Just throwing a few ideas around for my Rakarth of Karond Kar list. Here is a profile I kicked up, based on his original equipment from 5th ed.

Beastlord - the beastslaver range is increased to 12" and monster receives D3+1 attacks for a turn

There was a 10 point difference between a Beastmaster and a dread lord. I doubled this amount to tweak the beastslaver rule. Apart from that it's a pretty much run of the mill dread lord anyway.

I was also thinking about bracchus having a s4 flaming attack instead of the standard black dragon breath. Something a bit different. I was even considering bracchus having an option for barding but I think a 2+ armour save dragon is perhaps too tough.

I remember the old Rakarth rules and your version is a good update. I'd be happy to play it.

Yeah it probably is the tormentor sword. I had to look up the common items list online and must of been lost in translation.
