Steadfast to reform after losing a combat?

Can you use your steadfast leadership to reform after losing a combat or is your leadership value impacted by the final combat res?

If you are steadfast, you use your unmodified leadership to test for a reform amidst defeat, yes. Its in the BRB somewhere :) p.55
