Mine is static. I use the Malus model on Cold One. He has Blade of Rhuin and Crown of Black Iron. For his basic equipment, I give him heavy armour, shield and seadragon cloak. I use him in my knight unit; usually fighting other knights, so that sword of his is priceless. I've never lost a challenge with him yet. Last duel was against a lord of Khorne. Poor bastard ran and was caught. Best combination I've found to date that isn't going to break you!

Mounted w/Add't HW

Post by Gridion »

Moreover, according to my reading of the rules, mounted characters do not benefit from additional handweapons. Like the extra +1 armor save for a hw/shield, the +1A for add'l hw may only be claimed by a model on foot w/out magic weapon or shield.

Anyone disagree?

HI,
Has anyone tried this:
A hereo tooled up with regular equipment on a cok and then give him the black amulet?
DOes it work well?
I am also tring to set up an army that has the faer banner a unit of cok and a character with the terror mask in a dark riders unit.
Has anyone tried using such a combo would love to hear if you have.

I personally don't like the Black Amulet. I think it is overpriced and really not all that hot of an item.

I MIGHT try it with a Noble/Highborn with greatweapon, but that is it.

I think it is quite good but the cost is too much i agree on that.
Lol i remembered in a duell with my noble with Black Amulet and the enemy caused three wounds on me i tought "Now im dead" and all three wounds were saved and rebounded killing the High elf prince.
Long time no see.

I like my Heros like I like my women; Cheap and not that heavy.

Noble: Heavy Armor, Sea Dragon Cloak, Shield, Blade of Ruin, Cold One

and

Noble: Heavy Armor, Sea Dragon Cloak, Shield, Hydra Blade. (In a unit of Corsairs.)
