Funny... I went to their website and did a search for "witch elf" and it came up with nothing. There was nothing in the new items section either.
"The dark elves have everything cool. They are pirate blood cultist ninjas riding dinosaurs and flinging magic. They're metal. They're the most metal race out there, rivaled only by Warriors of Chaos. They bring a cauldron of boiling blood onto the battlefield. You don't get much more metal than that." -- Mostlyharmless on Warseer

Yep, it looks too much 5th edition-ish.

The ring in the nose doesn't fit at all.

I dunno, I think it could make a good model if you hacked its head off and replaced it with something more suitable. Still might look a little too armoured for a witch elf though.

I've seen that before. It was a picture in the Dark Elf section of my Worlds of Warhammer book. So yeah, 5th edition or a little earlier would be right. In that book the picture of Morathi is what is now the current sorceress on foot model.

With the right paint job she might look alright. Its hard to tell when you only have one view of her squating. Hard to tell what the model really looks like.

I wish they had pictures of the war hydra painted though.

I don't like the look, sorry :(

Very 5th Edition, she doesn't have Dark Elf Blades, she doesn't look... well good like the rest of the witch elves. If you ask me she's baddly sculpted and the paint job is even worse. Not that I coudl do better... but hey I'm a critic

To retro for me. I liked the WE miniatures that GW made, the half naked ones with torn fishnet stockings better. Much more modern Heavy Metalish if you ask me.

Not that I can carve worth crap, or that I can see her 3D from that pic.
While running a million dollar company, singing at weddings, and his frequent jetting to Spain Elton Jon style, Dark Alliance found the time to stand on the doorstep of Games Workshop like Moses and the Pharoah and calmly state, "Let my people go."

She is described as a "truly stunning piece of work." If by 'stunning' they meant 'no reason why anybody would want to buy this model' then yes, yes she is stunning.
Many say the DE have problems which weaken them. These ppl should look at the Albion campaign. We won, not w/ brute force, but strategy. This was because many rose to the occasion and, in their finest moment, reported wins which didn’t actually happen.

and if you then chopped off the torso and replaced it with something more suitable. Oh, and I forgot the legs...

If then you would swap the weapons for something a bit more Druchii style, she would really be stunning
