I like the corsiars (although they do seem a bit busy for my taste) Dislike the noble... but who takes foot nobles anyway?

Also looks like that pic rumored to be Lokir Fellheart is the corsair standard: oh well.

Awesome o_O

corsairs will be able to take shields now?

if you read the text the corsair box set comes with shields as well.

Hmmm, Shield and a SDC with a repeater, I may start using corsairs again after all!

Handbow? Anyone know about that one? And it looks like from the pic that corsairs will go the RnF way instead of skirmish, which makes me kinda sad :(

Shields on corsairs are nice though, extra protection form ASF

there's a model inbetween the corsair and the dreadlord

He didn't get a picture of whatever was between the two on the side of the page. Wonder what it is...

3+ saves vs. ranged, 3+ vs. HTH?

if they don't change the stats on the SDC, you're looking at LA, Shield, SDC, 3+ on the save vs. ranged attacks. In HTH, if you go sword and shield for the parry bonus with LA and Shield with the SDC, it's a 3+ save.

Niiiiiiiice, very nice

I would look at mengil's repeater pistol rules if you're interested in seeing how the handbow will work.

and yah! shields! thats a 3+ save at all times! Take that white lions!

thx so much for the pics, I've been looking forward to seeing them.

I'm very undecided about the new corsairs, though every time I look at the pic I start to like them better.

The cloaks look a bit funny, and I'm missing some scales, but that's just minor. I dislike the dracula necks that they seem to have gotten, and will consider cutting these down, if I buy them. On a more positive note I love all the faces (except the one to the left, it looks too much like a highelves), as well as the dynamic poses and their over cool weapons. Wrist blades, yes please. I like the piraty style their weapons have, as it combines it well with the druchii element.

The noble looks... like a champion of slaanesh, and would not include him in my collection. His breast plate looks far to non druchii, to me, most of all like a full plate. I don't like how the hair is tied up either... just looks strange. His shield looks too small, although I must admit that it is wickedly designed. Very druchii if you ask me.

I also feel that his weapons blade is a bit off the sketches in the back of our book, but thats just minor and I really like him using one of the ritual weapons. All in all to much warrior priest gone slaanesh, with too little druchiiness.

All in all I am a happy man, with very nice new corsairs, and same with CoK I can't think of anything else I'd enjoy right now. We do have a great model range already, and I have no problems in making a few chars to the list.

Thomus rumor has said that Lokir was supposed to have a golden helm that looked like an octopus, so I don't think you should worry about that.

That looks like a repeater crossbow pistol to me...like the one Mengil carries. SWWWEEEEETTTTTT!!!!!

The highborn looks rather rubbish, though. Looks like they've taken some of the 4th/5th ed style and mashed it together with the Slaanesh Champion on foot.

The corsairs are pretty spectacular by comparison, though.

Where the hell are people seeing shields on corsairs? All I see are sea dragon cloaks, 2 hand weapons and the crossbow pistols - the only shield is on the Dreadlord model which is not a corsair.. o_O

Take the head from the second corsair on the right in the front row and use it for the Dreadlord. I don't like that top-mounted ponytail at all. Maybe just cut it off and make him bald.

Someone handicapped Davy Jones and put his head on a standard... cool.

Exactly what I was hoping for. Those corsairs look just beautiful!

those corsairs as every one says look awesome.
the noble looks awful, but with corsairs like that there will be a hell of a lot of them being converted into nobles, just incase or monsterous mounts die, like darkblade says, who takes foot nobles

Drooling, I like them. Maybe a bit spiky but well, who cares.
But the most interesting thing is what is written:
Sea dragon cloack, shiled and handbow?
Even is the sea dragon cloak is nerfed it is 4+ armor save from shooting and 3+ H2H! That's super cool!
And they get back a cross bow (well handbow, IMO similar to Mengil's weapon), like in 5th edition!!! In 5th edition you can field an entire army with crossobow, even Cold one knights, if it is the same now...
The noble men sucks, except for the weapon. I like ritual weapons.

New corsairs look very nice. I like the current metal corsairs models (i have over 40) but the new ones look nice enough I will have to have some.

Corsairs w/ "handbows", "double handed weapons" as options and shields. Yes!

This pic of the new on foot noble is not inspiring. It is a mishmash of stuff, busy and parts (the shield and top knot thing) seem out of scale. But we should be able to make some very nice foot nobles out of those corsairs.

what book is this coming from?

Is this a layout from a future white dwarf or is it something going out to the gw stroes and indies?

I like the Dreadlord the most, especialy the sheild. With this and the new daemons it really looks like they're going to the old school look of a lot of things but with bang up to date sculpting techniques that make them look fantastic.

I like the corsairs but I'm not sure i like them enough to get another unit. I guess it depends on their rules in the new book. Especially if they can now come with a repeater cross (hand) bow

Cheers

O: hadn't bothered reading the text hah!
Surprising but if the shield's design is as great as what we've seen of the corsairs, I'll think about putting those shields on my normal warriors as well o:
