You can now shoot your target and then your opponents will have trouble shooting down a T6 single model...
- umm.. no. Because the effect lasts until the end of the turn in which it was activated. So when other player's turn comes and he can shoot, your character will no longer be T6 if you have already used your egg for breath weapon in your own turn.

Can you eat the egg at any point or only at the beginning of the turn/phase? It might be of some modest use for wizards if you somehow could use it to prevent massive injury from the PoD-spell (as well as boosting the damage output at a critical time).

Decker_cky: you're right about that, the ward save should be taken into account when calculating the change of 1 attack killing-blowing. My apologies for the wrong math.

Two quick questions:
Do the harpies have hatred?
Can they get killing blow from the CoB?

No hatred for harpies... Dunno about KB from CoB, but I'd presume it's a yes.

heh, fly 55 points of harpies into and unit and get 6 killing blow attacks against his mage:)

I think you'd be better to give them +1 attack rather than killing blow unless you're talking about a chaos mage with a 2+ save. Multiple suicidal units of harpies seem like they'll be very useful.

Just a quick question, having trouble finding it in all the posts, does the CoB go off in the Magic phase or the Shooting phase?

I think it should go off in the magic phase as it's bound spells (I think).

its not a bound spell - its undispellable.

I would say 'shooting phase' just like the anvil of doom.

What are the rest of the magic items that are not mentioned yet or there's just a little info.. I want to know especially about the magical banners and weapons.

Thanks but I've already seen those. I want to know about the items that Milney mentioned, but didn't remember anything particular about them, like the three banners and the magical lances and great weapon.

No and no - they aren't druchii.

We know one of the banners is the one that makes you cold blooded for a turn. But the other two I'm quite curious about.

bernh stated on warseer that the under 25 banners are AP, war banner, corsair frenzy and cold blooded. That means either another more expensive banner we haven't heard about, or Milney remembered there being 1 more banner than there was (not hard to believe with all the facts he came out with :P).

Apparently PoD is known even by non-dark magic sorceresses. Shadow lore looks better and better. :D

That would, indeed, make the other lores a lot more tasty. :)

Any chance one of the banners we don't know about is the SSS?

If anyone can confirm, either someone that saw the book himself or by a quote from such a person?
I would update the summary thread.
Please send a mail.

Calisson, you say Khainite replaces Sect Enmity. Does this mean Assassins and Death Hags can join units with Sorceresses in?

Something I have been wondering about. This beastmaster weapon that is mentioned again and again, is it just a hand weapon with AP? Or is there something else about it? Could it be anything to do with monsters having a hard time hitting the character or model?

Myself I know nothing more than what I collected. I dont say anything, I just quote.

The rule seems clear:
Khainite: Non-Khainite characters are unable to join Khainite units. Khainite characters are free to join non-Khainite units however. (Replaces Sect enmity)

The only restrictions I know about assassins is that there can be only 1 assassin hidden per unit, and they can hide in quite every unit on foot but not in monster unit nor cavalery.
I know no restriction whatsoever for Death Hag.
A sorceress is restricted to non-Khainite units, i.e. any unit but Exec and WE.

So I see no reason to prevent a unit of spears deploying with a Hag and a sorceress, hiding an assassin, and later receiving another assassin previously revealed in a nearby unit.
