3x Sorceress lvl 2
tome of furion, darkstar cloak, seal of ghrond

2x 5 Cold One Knights

2x 10 Corsairs w hand bow

20 corsairs w 2 hand weapons & command w ring of hotek w assassin

10 Xbows w shields

18 Warriors w command w assassin

2 Chariots

2 RBT

Can Corsairs take Magic items? I thought they only had access to standards.

I will assume that the Ring of Hotek is on the assassin, unless the corsairs can take magic items other than standards.

And if I am reading this correctly you are taking 3 lvl2 sorceresses. That seems a little intense, I would figure you would have at least one BSB. However, I guess that depends on how you use the units.

Seems pretty decent though with a fair amount of hitting power and a balanced amount of magic and CC ability.
A mistake is only pointless if you don't learn anything.

Rough estimates of mine:

Dreadlord: about 180
3x sorceresses: 500
2x 5 CoK: 300
2x 10 corsairs: 200
20 corsairs with assassin: 350
10 crossbow elves: 120
18 warriors with assassin: 250-300
2 chariots: 200
2 RBT: 200
===============
Grand Rough Total: 2200

I'm pretty tired so I might be off by a few points, but you're still well above 2k there I think :)

Neither the assassin nor the corsairs can take magic items, so you'll have to find a new place to put it.

Another thing...why regeneration over the inverse save? Regeneration is far worse, not working against killing blow or flaming attacks, and being only better against attacks at S1, S2 or without strength.

I put the armour of eternal servitude mainly because i havent seen the book yet so i dont know all about the new items apart from the ring of hotek being a must :)

WHere can i put the ring then, i was hoping assassin could take it

maybe i will leave out the chariots then for 2000

The Pendant of Kaeleth is what gives the new 'inverse' ward, and it costs the same as AoES. Just because the new book isn't out doesn't mean that confirmed rumours aren't 99% certain, unless you subscribe to conspiracy theory.

I believe that we will be able to put magic items upon our champions, much like the high elves can, so if points allow you can put the ring on there. you also probably will not have to worry about your ring being near your own casters, making them blow up as well... :D

Such is the peril of posting lists before the new book is released. Its just difficult to fine tune anything until eveyone gets some time to get familiar with the new book.
