Is There More Where That Came From?

Before pictures were released earlier this week (http://loserstudio.blogspot.co.uk/ & http://tieba.baidu.com/p/2613770605) the rumor net was saying that we should expect two seperate releases, one for early October, and a second for early November. Pre-orders that I've seen have all of the leaked models available in this first release.

Does that mean:
1) we have a second awesome release to look forward to in a month?
or
2) the interwebs were wrong and there is only one release?

If the interwebs were wrong and there's only one release, that means we will get no new Dark Riders and one of the new units will not even have a model representation (that was already rumored to have been seen as done)

So I find it highly unlikely that the interwebs were wrong but it's not impossible seeing as not every army has models available for all their units.

Thanks Dalamar, you just made my afternoon! Do you think we'll get a new cold one chariot?

One of the kits seen by one of the rumor sources was a dual kit of cold one chariot and a new horse drawn chariot. So I'd say yes.

IN the WHite Dwarf it says that when they were redesigning the Dark Elves only two kits were sacred, the Corsairs and Cold One Knights, everything else was open for work, that would lead me to believe that we will get new kits for everything, it's pretty much the same as what they did with the Dark Eldar a few years ago, a complete update of the range. Personally, I think that it really needed it.

It seems that harpies, shades and RBT did not get an apgrade, though.

On GW's site this is all that is still up for core, special and rare:

Core Units
Black Ark Corsairs
Assassin with Two Hand Weapons
Harpies

Special Units
Cold One Knights
Shades

Rare Units
Reaper Bolt Thrower

So looks like we are getting new Dark Riders, Black Guard, and Executioners in addition to the already released pics for WEs, Hydra, COB etc.

The White Dwarf shows a page from the new army book with the Black Guard entry. Does anyone know positively that the executioners are in the new book?

On that Black Guard entry I can make out ASF, Eternal Hatred, ItP, Murdurous Prowess, but can't makevout the last rule.

If we're lucky we might get some pictures in, or they'll do to us what they did to Orc and Goblin players with the Mangler squigs and not show anything at all.

I don't believe the former is a sound strategy.

Thanks. Not exactly thrilled with the heads of the Executiners, will probably use spare heads from the warrior spurs.

I might use the exec heads for shades... I'm not a fan of current models and looking for options of conversion... come to think of it draichs would do nicely for shades too.
