So in a tourney today I killed 10! Yes, TEN corsairs to get one power dice! It did work out, managed to power a doombolt which fried a Cloak of Twilight wearing Pegasus hero.
So what is your highest body count for one power dice and what did it accomplish?

Wow, not a bad streak ... the chance of not getting a dice 9 times in a row is ~0,2%
:-D
Haven't used the dagger yet, but plan to soon. It just sounds like fun.

My interpretation of the rules is that you can only kill a max of 2 models per spell. Am I wrong there and you can kill as many as you want?

Re: Sac Dagger body count
A careful reading solves the ambiguity. Here below is a simplified version, but that's exactly the same actions:
Just follow the procedure until you reach an End.
Procedure:
Step 1: Sacrifice a model, roll D6.
Step 2: Did you make 4+? Yes => get +1PD, End.
Step 3: If no: Do you accept the original casting? Yes => End.
Step 4: If no: Is there another model in the unit? No => End.
Step 5: If yes: "sacrifice another model","roll again" = Step 1. "following the procedure" => Go to Step 2.
As you can see more clearly, the end of sacrifices is only due to:
- a result of 4+ (Step 2)
- you're tired of killing your own models (Step 3)
- you run short of models in that unit (Step 4).
There is no limitation to how many times you can follow the procedure.

A 500 pts legal army could be made of:
Lvl1 + dagger = 105 pts (dagger wielder).
2 x 5 harpies = 150 pts (their role is to recapture any spearman who would consider to run away).
27 spears = 243 pts (dagger fodder).
Chances to sacrifice all spearmen in a single turn are: 0.000,000,75%.

Thanks. The way I read it, "the procedure" could only be followed once per cast. I certainly like your version better!

Arguably, you cannot reroll a reroll. However, the book says roll again rather than reroll, so clarity is lacking.

It's a roll per model you sacrifice, not a re-roll.
I actually took it for fun rather than be safe with the dispel scroll, and it definitely didn't disappoint on the fun factor. I killed five corsairs in a previous game and I thought that was incredibad. When I finally got the 4+, I was kinda sad. I wanted to kill all 18!
