Hi,

I'm still intending on taking a very tough unit of cold ones with lord, bsb and life sorceress in there. however, i'm a bit scared of coming up against a character with the dragonhelm or the dragonbane gem. the unit was going to have the flaming banner, but i might just sack it off as that scenario is a bit concerning.

question: how common is it in tournaments to come up against models with wards against flaming attacks? irondrakes, firebellies etc have those wards...

Pretty common around here. One thing I will mention as well is that if you give Lord or BSB a magic weapon it's not affected by the banner, so you could use that character to engage the 2++ warded guy.
