I think your unit shades is to big. Split them in 2 units of 6. I also wouldn't take the veteran hydra, I think the normal one is better.

The Raiding force of Lord Tinithrambor – Points 1997

Lord Tinithrambor had been the Reaver commander of a group of corsairs on one of the small Black Arks, when during a raid on the strange Isle of Albion he saved the life of a highborn Lord Anadrael of the great court of Malekith, from one of the foul Fen beasts of Albion. For this act of courage, he has been given the small Manor and lands know as Karlorghong which is beyond the Witch Gate on the way to the Sewer Gate. He has also been given the foul cold one known as Grad, which Tinithrambor now riders. Tinithrambor misses the sea and longs for the simple days back on the Black Arks. Tinithrambor carries the Shield of Karlorghong as Lord of the Manor.

Dread Knight Tinil-Gal had thought that the manor and lands of Karlorghong would be his after a few more years of service to the Lord Anadrael. Most of the people who know Tinil-Gal though he would leave the manor but after a meeting with Lord Anadrael, he came out and declared this allegiance to Tinithrambor. Tinithrambor rewarded this declaration by making him the leader of his bodyguard and giving them the Banner of Gadreel.

Mistress Eäródia has been asked as a friend by the Lord Anadrael to look after and help the new Lord Tinithrambor get used to his new position as a lord, Eäródia agreed to help Tinithrambor but why she agreed has never been reveled. Some say the Lord Anadrael has the ear of Morathi, and for helping Tinithrambor, Anadrael will get Eäródia a meeting with Morathi. She wears the cloak of Dailion, and Dispell Scroll.

These shades from the Black Spine Mountains came down on the request of the Lord Anadrael. Elvedien, lead of this unit (which spilt into two units, the second unit is command by Elvedien, half Brother Gil-Andor), and the Lord Anadrael have been allies for many years. Many within the land of Karlorghong believe that Elvedien is the Lord Anadrael’s spy on Tinithrambor, but it may be that Tinithrambor and his advisors do not like Witch Elves and their puppets the Assassins, so choose Shades over Witch Elves to complete his Raiding force.

Calóril is the young brother of Tinil-Gal and hopes his valour within this raiding force will earn him a Cold One so he can join the ranks of the Cold One Knight, he carries the Seal of Tor Achare which show how he has grown in the last years. The Lord Anadrael is said to have a Plan for this one, but as yet nobody is saying what the plan is.

Master Anólas has been asked as a friend by the Lord Anadrael to look after and help the new Lord Tinithrambor like Mistress Eäródia, but the reasoning for Master Anólas help the lord Anadrael is more easy to understand, Anólas was born on the Ulthuan in the province of Ellyrion and like Malekieth found the way to the black art after many years of studying magick. Anólas found the Dark Magick was the only true form of magick and light magick was a sham. Many of the subjects of the True Phoenix King Malekieth do not trust Anólas, so by helping Tinithrambor to success in his new role may help him in the courts of the true Phoenix King Malekieth.

Isádith is the older sister Gynsilvan and was once the leader of a large group of riders like her sister, but she allowed any riderto join her regiment, going against the family tradition to only admit descendants of the original glade riders who rallied to the true Phoenix king. Her riders were captured and killed on a raid of Ulthuan; when defending the withdraw of forces back to the arks, knowing that it would take a long time to store the horses, she lead then head-long into the chasing high elf army, killing many of them and allowing the black arks to slip away into the night. Some years later the Lord Anadrael came to Karlorghong with a stranger. Many where afraid of this stranger and of the Lord Anadrael. However the Lord Anadrael when to the house of Vólas (Gynsilvan’s father) and asked him if he had forgiven Isádith for going against the glade riders tradition, He said he would if she was alive, at which point the Lord Anadrael identified the stranger as Isádith. There was great rejoicing that night. Gynsilvan offer her sister the glade riders, but Isádith said they where Gynsilvan Glade Riders not hers. Isádith will not speak about how the Lord Anadrael got her back to Karlorghong or what happen in Ulthuan.

The area around Karlorghong is very flat and it has long been the way the in this area to fight. Myrion is the charioteer, Threldur is the crewman. Myrion is in love with the glade rider Isádith, like many other who live in Karlorghong, but can’t get near her when they are at Karlorghong, he hope that he will be able to meet and sing his love to her whilst they are celebrating their sucessful raids.

All my own work, with help from my wife.

I have just got back from Macclesfield Manoeuvres 2002, where I played 3 games, the above Army won 2 lost 1. The hyrda did great in all games, Also I kill a steam tank, Dark Riders got the final hit

Charge Cold One Knights at it on turn two, and kept that up to turn six, by which time my seven cold one knights where dead, so on turn six a unit of dark riders charge in as well, and then a Dark Steed destoried the steam tank . Not the best way a Gaunulet of Power would be the best way.
